D'oh, I only saved 18 ectoplasm, in thinking that there might be more potions that need it, and Snapjaw stopped dropping them. |

*got curious about the Coffers and looked up the prizes* *got Very Excite about the horned wig and is now a proud owner of one, aaalthough it looks like the computer I'm currently on won't run half of the site's more outdated code, customization included* Guysh, does anyone want Creepy Purple Contacts perchance? I got nothing whatsoever to do with them and the Coffer awards are a bit random so if anyone has a pet whose character they would suit, I could happily send them over. |

I got nothing whatsoever to do with them and the Coffer awards are a bit random so if anyone has a pet whose character they would suit, I could happily send them over. Only half paying attention because I don't play neopets s'much anymore, but I can't be the only one who looked at that item and immediately thought "The Darkest Faerie for the PS2!" ...Can I? DDD8 ;A; It was a really fun game okay, I only played it through five times DON'T LOOK AT ME. |

The timing of the new step really clashes with my other priorities so it will have to wait. I hope they keep the slow pace for updates since it suits me for once

This time there is new dialogue, new achievements for Kaia, lockpicking, battling, and potion brewing, and there are five new areas that need cleared. I wonder how this is going to work with the Infirmary step since there is a hard cap on how many of each ingredient you can get. |

Oof. No sooner did you write that then: Another plot update! I wonder how this is going to work with the Infirmary step since there is a hard cap on how many of each ingredient you can get. Right? I feel like TNT would make it so that eventually you won't need more than 35 of each material to get all of the achievements, since that is the current cap (and is still in place).
Also, heads up that we can't do Kaia's mystic murmuring yet; she has yet to convert to a new set of mumbo-jumbo. XD |

So the 35 item cap. Is that per wraith item, like 35 fur, 35 ectoplasm, etc. or is it 35 total of any wraith items? So 10 fangs + 10 fur + 10 claws + 15 ectoplasm =35 limit?
*Edited to add* Never mind. I think I got my answer. I didn't realize it was a 35 cap per item total. I thought it was a daily cap. Yeah, they need to remove that cap for sure. Otherwise, it... won't be pretty. lol |

Couldn't say, I remember when that game came out but that was at a time when pretty much everyone on the internet had our corner of the world filed away under "probably foreign dung farmers or something" and we had zero accessibility to any merchandise. Sucks for them, because now I'm at the point where I have all the disposable income but don't normally think about dropping it on microtransactions because part of my brain is still convinced that it's not available for me. (And thus an entire country became prolific internet pirates xP) One thing I've noticed about this particular Neopets management is that they do a lot of callbacks and rediscovery of old site lore, so I wouldn't be surprised if this item was in fact a DF reference. |

Why is the wraith resurgence popup-ad appearing at the giving tree since theres no reason at all it ''should'' be there? It makes using the giving tree completely impossible, I don't want to play the STUPID wraith-resurgence thing ( only because ive had it shoved in my face one too many times in the one place its all but a MALWARE AD AT ie the giving tree) And this slow hard to remove ad just keeps reappearing! How do I get rid of it?? Ive sent messages to staff and have received no help, uhghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ive sent messages to staff and have received no help, uhghhhhhhhhhhhhhh It's not an ad, it's part of the event itself; certain parts of Neopia are affected by wraiths and players need to cook up potions to clear them up. Of course, in a way it does function as an ad this way, because it spreads awareness to people who might not notice the plot otherwise, but semantics. I'm frankly not sure if the purple haze just stays there if the account user doesn't clear it up; probably does or people who join late wouldn't be able to play. Previous steps had the haze show up at the Tyrannian Omelette and the giant jelly, so my logic says that people who don't play the event but do their dailies have had to put up with the haze hovering there since the event began. (Which also goes to explain why the plot has been so easy and low-time-investment to participate in, come to think of it; so that players could clear the steps with relative ease and wouldn't get purple-hazy omelettes for a whole month.) |

Its no so much an issue of 'wouldn't play' but as much of a 'cant' because for some reason this event doesn't work properly on any of my browsers.. What a relief that this god forsaken event-ad is going to be shoved into a place where It ''belongs'' about as much as in the dailies.
