-headdesk- and then someone said they finished all of the plot parts in 8 minutes. ugh. This is what confused me. I remember plenty of plots where, once you knew what to do, you could solve the plot puzzle in under at least half an hour. The only long plot steps were ones that had multiple steps with new ones being released each day or community challenges.

I remember plenty of plots where, once you knew what to do, you could solve the plot puzzle in under at least half an hour. The only long plot steps were ones that had multiple steps with new ones being released each day or community challenges. And do we really want another case of the Temple of 1001 Tombs? ='D (Fraze and I both get a bit twitchy reminiscing about the Lost Desert plot.) Yeah, it should be blatantly clear by now that they're trying very hard to make this plot inclusive to as many players as humanly possible. Hence the big hard-hitting weapons they've been handing out. The Battledome in particular has always attracted this elitist air of sorts, so the Great Weapons Controversy of 2017 was to be expected, but when we objectively look at how they've set up the plot, it's quite nicely balanced: anyone who takes interest can jump in and participate without obstacles, there's no huge time commitment, but at the same time there's a nice variety of puzzles and also a good range of challenges in the form of different BD difficulty tiers (plus those freegin' murmurs). All of which stands entirely to reason, considering that the Neopets userbase has been sorrrt of in a decline and the site itself is a dinosaur by nature. If TNT wants to drum up excitement in the remaining playerbase and rope them into the currently ongoing events then the way they've set up this plot is just about the best way they could've gone about it.

What if we gave them the temple of 1001 tombs... COMBINED WITH THE THREE MODS FROM THE RETURN OF DR SLOTH.
they'll stop their whining and complaining right away, right? (kappa)

One of the best... or worst... parts of this plot is the salt on board 7, which has pretty much made it unuseable.
I mean, I get critiquing TNT, that's not what I mean, but people are sometimes not very reasonable. XD

I don't lurk or post on the Neoboards very often and try to avoid fandom bellyaching in general for my own health, but I can at least tell you that the Neopets fandom has always been absolutely unpleasable and whiny. I remember that the Neoboards went nuclear after the fake-out ending to the Lost Desert Plot.

Blueysicle That would have been hilarious to witness, LOL! It's odd that I remember TFR at least being relatively calm--but that's probably because I didn't participate much in the boards. Lord Hayati ... yeah, probably.

Even though I agree people will nag about anything, I wish the next plot steps are a bit more challenging and require more time!

I remember that the Neoboards went nuclear after the fake-out ending to the Lost Desert Plot. The first rule of Board 7 is to never read Board 7. That place has gone down the drain and is now quite firmly in the sewers ever since TNT turned it into a permanent fixture on the Neoboards. Too many people who hate each other, but largely used to forget about each other between events, keep butting heads 24/7 now.

What if we gave them the temple of 1001 tombs... COMBINED WITH THE THREE MODS FROM THE RETURN OF DR SLOTH. *twitchy eyebrow* Yes, my brain had somehow managed to forget quite nicely about the three mods until now, thank you :'D (more like blocked out amirite) True story, I only ever managed to stay with the Sloth plot until the end because I used the program people used for the three mods before it got clarified as against the rules. Spent the next several weeks worrying about my account, of course, but it would've been straight-up impossible for me to finish the plot if I hadn't obliviously loopholed my way through early on. whippersnappers these days don't know how good they have it, grumble grumble etcetera. I could theorize that inbetween GMC and the Advent Calendar, they only had so many resources to spare on setting up this plot, so odds are good that we'll just get more murmurs, spinny locks, potions and adorable wraith opponents, althooough the Resistance HQ page now has dialogue about nursing the wraith-pets back to health, so that might introduce more stuff. Or maybe just more potions.
I'm a pretty undemanding plot player, anyway, my free time is made up of ten-minute increments, so I'm chill with a low-intensity plot xD

It appears that we have new dialogue, and with it, a new step. Click on the bridge to start the step

Yet another new step - and by new, I really mean new. It's not super involved, but there are multiple achievements and they do appear to be working: Click on Taelia's Concoctions, and there should be a signpost with an infirmary sign. This will take you to the Wraith Infirmary, where you can begin participating in the step. We can only cure the Blue Jetsam - the former Snapjaw Wraiths - at this time, and he will only accept Taelias Concoction I. You will need 5 concoctions, which require 3 Ectoplasms to make. If you don't have those Ectoplasms, then I'd buy them fast as they are inflating.

I AM READY. Just a heads up to do the 5 today for the achievements, but maybe save some of your stash for later. There is some speculation that this is a community step and/or that the bar will only move once per day since the FAQ mentions that the healing process takes time.
