It's more of a 'this is a plot!' callout than an explicit reference to the Altador Plot. The Janitor or someone related to him has cropped up in every major site event since the Lost Desert Plot. Which must be a good sign at least? Means someone has done their homework. Although I wouldn't say he's been in every one, I don't remember him in TRoDS or ToW, although he may have had a brief panel-long cameo that I don't remember. But he's been in a lot of them, and he did appear in TFR which makes it very relevant that he will appear in this plot as well.

It's more of a 'this is a plot!' callout than an explicit reference to the Altador Plot. The Janitor or someone related to him has cropped up in every major site event since the Lost Desert Plot. Specifically: Lost Desert Plot: Yurble Janitor (first as a Foreman, than as a Chef) Altador Mini-Plot: Yurble Janitor (as a Janitor) Tale of Woe: Graveyard Caretaker Return of Dr. Sloth: Yurbot Atlas of the Ancients: There was a Yellow Yurble kid who appears at the very beginning and end playing with a friend, but no point did he get angry so who knows if its a reference. Faeries' Ruin: Yurble Janitor (as a Librarian) Spooky Food Eating Contest: Scarlet disguised itself as a Red Yurble. Once again, not sure if it was a reference, especially since all competitors had images where they were revealed to be the monster, though worked out in a meta sense. War of the Obelisk: Rent-a-Brute There was no Yurbles in Cyodrake's Gaze, Journey to the Lost Isle, Operation: Petpet Park, Krawk Island's Disappearance, Desert Diplomacy, and Portal Activation Centre.

He was in JttLI as a background character - part of the crowd dismissing the Fairweather's work. Also in the Negg Festival as the REAL Negg Faerie.

I had an idea that the 50,000 NP reward would be in-story, as to the fictional characters who are unaffected by the game's economy it probably would be a lot of money.
It might be too obvious a twist, but perhaps Kaia could be behind the "betrayal". I personally doubt it (more likely she'll end up being a protagonist who proves herself as a heroine) but it's always a possibility.

I'm all for Kaia the heroine, and us fighting the wraiths alongside her!

The video didn't tell us much we didn't already know/suspect from the avatar. But the video was a nice touch. I wonder if this means they will stick with videos for the story elements instead of comics (with the dialogue being in the speech bubbles as they've been doing)? It was pretty neat - more than I expected them to have done. The Festival's background music was a bit grating though. I'd probably trash the place too if I was on the outskirts of Faerieland and had to listen to that for a week straight. xD

Wonderful, we're under siege by Organization XIII. That video reminds me of when you first encounter the (remainder) of Org13 in Kingdom Hearts 2. Jump to 4:43.

Great, now I imagine one of the cloaked mystery figures has Demyx's "evil" laugh.

Aw, don't be mad. Stick to the beat! Thanks for making me feel old today, but seriously what does the text say? I tried dragging and dropping, but apparently that is full size and I literally can't read anything except the top panel.

Aw, don't be mad. Stick to the beat! Thanks for making me feel old today, but seriously what does the text say? I tried dragging and dropping, but apparently that is full size and I literally can't read anything except the top panel. It is rather small, yeah. If I didn't have a magnifying glass, I wouldn't know what to do! PANEL ONE, Bubble: HEEEEY! SHOW YOURSELVES! PANEL TWO, Bubble 1: Am... the keyblade! Truly a marvelous weapon... PANEL TWO, Bubble 2: ... If only it were in more... capable hands! PANEL THREE: A bunch of "hahahahahahas" but that's easily visible. PANEL FOUR: someone continues to laugh maniacally PANEL FIVE, Bubble 1: SILENCE, NUMBER IX! PANEL FIVE, Bubble 2: Aah-ha-ha... ha? PANEL SIX, Bubble 1: We've already been through this--your laugh's not evil enough to join in with the group! PANEL SIX, Bubble 2: Ahh... PANEL SEVEN, Bubble 1: No more joining in the group laugh! You're like the diet coke of organization XIII! PANEL EIGHT, Bubble 1: Just one calorie! Not evil enough PANEL EIGHT, Bubble 2: Aww, man PANEL NINE, Bubble 1 (I know that's the protag of the games but I have no idea who he is, some anime dude): Geeze (sic)..., even I feel sorry for that guy!..

Another update... for some of us, anyway. Some people can see it, and others are still seeing the old one because of cache issues.
