The BG today is so pretty. I'm actually really liking the wearables we've been getting from the DD so far.

I'm so glad this one was so easy after the last two days of TOTALLY SADISTIC GAME CHOICES.
Also I put the background on Amulatt because I actually love this one more than the outer space one I had gotten from the starry fortune cookie 8)

Figured I'd just go for Abigail today because I already settled for her prize on the first day (so there's no trophy difference) and I liked her prize better. So, it wasn't hard to get on the first try.

Sorry for being late, I worked late and long hours and slept for a few hours (I did manage to find a few minutes to check on things and even like a few comments, but that's it). So today's game, Space RockedAll you need to do to beat AAA is hit the ship two times. First time is 2k and second time is 3.5k. All I can really suggest to do is aim the rock the way you like, fire it when the launcher is green, and when it's about to hit the ground press "b" to boost it into the air. It may take a few tries but you'll eventually do it.

Today's challenge: Ice Cream Machine
One of my worst games, I must say so I went for Abigail. Jellyneo hasn't stated the prices yet but if AAA's prize is a background or clothing wearable, I'd like to purchase one if any of you beat him and would like to sell it :3
Abigail prize: Rainbow Ice Cream Sandwich On-the-day completion: Ice Cream Garland (cute!)

ICM, huh? Hm... I used to be quite good at that one. Even got the avvy once upon a time... Ahhhh we shall see how possible this one is later on, but this might be the one that gets me. :T
Do we have to do all of the challenges the day and date to get the top prize?

That was easy \o/ My ICM advice: You know the red powerups that slow down the scoops? You might think they're useful in the first levels, but in the harder levels, I really don't recommend using them. If you slow down all the scoops, they tend to stay clustered together, and you're likely to be trapped with no space to squeeze through. This is more evident in the harder levels.
The powerups you want are the extra lives, best things ever, and the purple scoops that shrink you. If you catch several in a row, you can get really tiny. Bear in mind that you'll grow back to your starting size as soon as you catch another powerup.
The shield is good for a while but cancels your downsize if you use it (and other bonuses you might have). I also find it more difficult to start dodging again after the shield vanishes. So I'd say this powerup is not worth darting across the game to fetch it.
The fish and cherry bonuses are good if you can catch them, but not worth darting across the board or wasting your downsize, imo. Strawberry Bomb can save you in a pinch, but prevents you from scoring any points from the scoops it clears. (they only get counted when they reach the top)
Very important: do. Not. Right-click. :'D I have my theory about Project X. Which camp was it that AAA went to, again? >_>

Nope - they ditched the day requirement for trophies a couple of years ago. All you need to do is beat AAA in all games by the end of the event to get gold (though you'll miss out on the individual day bonus items given out, and the team challenge bonus items if you skip several days).

Huntress and I went out to run a few errands, then started this one pretty much at the same time after getting back. I finished after about half an hour and maybe 8 or 10 failed tries. Don't forget the cheat code to get an extra life, strawberryvanillachocolate.

Herdy- Thanks! ^^ Wow. So, um... I got 13,980. How did I do it? No idea! A friend from the grad school was watching and I said, "I'm gonna suck!" and did quite the opposite, haha.

Much as it pains me to do so, I'm going to have to go with Abi on this one.

Guh, I hate this game. I've gotten up to 7800 so far and over 7000 twice but then I have one bad level and squander all of my lives, which can be as many as five. >_<
EDIT: Well, just barely scraped 8000. That took a lot of tries. >>

Picking the Breathtaking Night Sky or the stat upgrade yesterday was not an easy choice...but I eventually decided on the former.
Anyways, ah, Ice Cream Machine. Frustrating (especially when you feel frustrated after missing two-three extra lives), yet addicting, and with nice music. Which sums up some of our games lately.
(Tip: You can type "strawberryvanillachocolate" (preferably during the screen between levels or at the beginning of the game, obviously) for an extra life.)
Started falling apart a little by the time I got to the swirl level, but I still managed to finish with an 8,835. Man, that ice cream sandwich reward looks oddly delicious (and the skirt looks cute...if only I had female Neopets to put it on).

Just finished myself. First try I got close but made dumb mistakes, second I got over 8k and then quit. Liou posted some good advice so I'll repost it and add onto it: That was easy \o/ You know the red powerups that slow down the scoops? (they only get counted when they reach the top) Very important: do. Not. Right-click. :'D The tip I can add is start by picking a lane and try to stay in the middle of that lane. When an ice cream scoop shoots in that lane move over to the lane next over and stay there until an ice cream scoop shoots in that lane. Also try to stay in the middle to give yourself room to go up if you need to. Now of course this strategy is sometimes difficult to follow, just do your best. If a row of ice cream scoop shoot try to go through the "path" they create. And if you do lost a life, keep calm and re-focus, you'll only keep losing more lives otherwise. Just pay attention to what's happening on the screen, don't even check your score (you can do that at the end of the level). I have my theory about Project X. Which camp was it that AAA went to, again? >_> I was thinking about that too... hmm... Picking the Breathtaking Night Sky or the stat upgrade yesterday was not an easy choice...but I eventually decided on the former. I always pick the item as I figured if it just so happened to be the item that becomes valuable then selling it would pay for more training than what I would have gotten.
