Boo Chloe! I'm watching the episodes on Youtube and am on #6! I like the concept of turning people into evil beings: like some of the Pretty Cure series, except the 'monsters' are actually people, not possessed inanimate objects. Oui, oui! The fandom on tumblr has been making jokes about various situations in which someone would be akuma-tized (or evil-ized). XD The monster fight formula doesn't change much from episode to episode, but I think the main thing people watch it for anyway is the relationship dynamic between marinette, adrien, chat noir, and ladybug. So I watched the complete two-episode origins special, and it made me "awww" at the end because I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Marinette actually disliked Adrien at the beginning because she thought he had put gum on her seat. XD But she totally went head over heels when she found out that Adrien was way nicer and just wanted to be friends. I think that's a way more realistic way of crushing on someone, so good job, Hawkdaddy! Also, Master Fu at the end saying that the two of them were made for each other. I LOVE YOU, MASTER FU. TURTLE KWAMI FTW. Me too! So sweet. ^-^ More love story please. I love it. SO MUCH LOVE. <3

WELCOME TO THE CLUB, downrightdude! We're so happy to have you join the fandom! <3 Oui, oui! The fandom on tumblr has been making jokes about various situations in which someone would be akuma-tized (or evil-ized). I think we all have a pretty clear idea who is he is since The Bubbler (not gonna type his identity though, someone might actually not know it yet XD), but he's got a MIRACULOUS. AND IT'S A PRETTY darn ADORABLE MIRACULOUS. AND CRAZY POWERFUL, TOO. It just makes so much sense, it's delightful. And the entire story around Master Fu with his frggin' cute turtle kwami is so amazing! I cant wait to get some more of him and his backstory and ah ah ah. More people with kwamis!! Guys, that umbrella scene. Ah. My heart. Can't take it. So much love and angst - why can't they just kiss? T_T I love your theory, Zoey! It'd be really interesting to watch Adrien and Marinette fighting to get their kwamis back without transforming! ... And then they'd finally be together! <3 *heavy sigh*

And the official English dub has been put on hiatus without warning or a timeframe for when it will be coming back. I wanted to support the official release but I don't know how long I'll have to wait for more episodes since I'm/I was only following the dub.

I just started watching this show this weekend. xD <3 I'm on episode 13, and I really like it! I love Alya, and think everyone needs a best friend like her, and think they did a really great job on the animation of the show. I think Marienette is awesome and probably one of the most graceful superheros when she sequences into Ladybug. Just look at those killer moves . I think it's also funny that they have no idea who each other really is and Ladybug doesn't really like Chat Noir like that. My only complain is there are parts that are very repitive but other then that it's very entertaining! I think I know who Hawkmoth is and it'll be really interesting once Adrien finds out.

Finished watching the origin episodes today! I really enjoyed them! I actually think these episodes pushed me from "kinda enjoying and kinda laughing" at the show to "actually liking" the show. It's still a silly show, but I'm definitely warming up to it more now :3
A big part of this, I think, is that these origin episodes gave a lot more Adrien moments. He's not just friends with everyone; he has to struggle through conflicts on his own, and he has to prove himself before making friends. I really felt for him when Marinette thought he was trying to prank her because, yes, he was trying to help, but he also could not deny his association with Chloe. He was mistaken in his thoughts of Chloe, and had to correct himself. It wasn't just a silly misunderstanding. Adrien/Cat Noir are/is turning into my favorite character(s?) X3
And yes, the umbrella scene was very sweet :3 When he said, "They're meant for each other," that was the moment I committed and bought a ticket for the S.S. LadyNoir XD Dju Wait.... really? Oh my gosh, how have I never noticed that before?? They even have the same voice actors- ohmygosh. Well, forget Marinette and Adrien, I wanna see Hawkmoth's reveal now That sounds like a mess of emotions if they ever find out who he is. (also, it's funny how Adrien is apparently closely connected to the most horrid people in the show: Chloe was his only friend, and now this. Perhaps that'll give him an advantage of compassion in the future, something Ladybug won't have. Or maybe his emotions will just get in the way, who knows XD) Also, what if Hawkmoth's identity is revealed, and through that Cat Noir's is too? Cat suddenly doesn't want to fight Hawkmoth anymore, and he has to explain to Ladybug why.

Zoey You watched 21 and straight on to 25? Is that normal? I've completely lost track of episode numbers, I only remember them by the names of the villains. ^.^; So my plan was to finish watching the french episodes in the order they get released on french TV, ignore spoilers, and then watch the origins. (If I even find them somewhere.) However, french TV showed the Puppeteer again this time. s( )z Maybe they had originally broadcasted it too early? I'm really losing track. So I might lose patience and just go on a marathon of all the later subbed episodes to finish the season. Dju Yeah, Papillon/Hawkmoth's seekrit identity has been remarkably unsubtle since the Bubbler episode, I don't need no origins to see that. x3 Unless they've trolled us and it's actually Marinette's father, just picture the costume reveal.

I love your theory, Zoey ! It'd be really interesting to watch Adrien and Marinette fighting to get their kwamis back without transforming! ... And then they'd finally be together! <3 *heavy sigh* Yes! Although tbh I feel like it's gonna be a Kim Possible where they won't get together until the very, very end... Zoey You watched 21 and straight on to 25? Is that normal? I've completely lost track of episode numbers, I only remember them by the names of the villains. ^.^; So my plan was to finish watching the french episodes in the order they get released on french TV, ignore spoilers, and then watch the origins. So I might lose patience and just go on a marathon of all the later subbed episodes to finish the season. So it turns out that all of the French episodes up to 22 have been released (and the origin episodes, 25-26), so there's technically only two unreleased episodes left. 22 was a heart-stopper in terms of plot events (not what you think, though... LOL! it was still cute regardless) Speaking of episode 22... The fansubs were all #GabrielisHawkmoth2k16 LOL! I mean, it's pretty obvious from the get-go, but the writers are finally starting to "hint" it more to the younger audience. ADRIEN'S MOM. MAMA CINNAMON BUN. Gabriel looking at the giant mosaic of Mrs. Agreste (which probably is the door to his secret lair) probably solidifies the fan theory that Gabriel is trying to get the Miraculous to try to bring back his dead wife. But aww, the hug Gabriel gave Adrien at the end. He does care, he just is totally focused on his wife atm. THE SHOWER SCENE. Adrien: Uh, can I put on my clothes first? Love how he's somewhat embarrassed mostly because he's supposedly "naked" in front of his idol. LAST TWO EPISODES GON B INTENSE BOIZ.

Zoey I've figured it out... some episode lists aren't up to date, but I found the air dates of the post-20 episodes and apparently they get released earlier in Quebec than in France. And I was watching on french-french TV, not Canadian-french. That's why. s( )z I should catch up with the rest of you in the next few days once I figure out where else to watch my missing episodes.

Oh God, I'm about to watch Episode 22 without subs... Need to rely on my High School French here... xD
Apologies if I totally miss the plot points. Had to resist the spoiler tags here.
It's a shame about the English dub?! D: Hope they can sort it soon. I'm finding the French way easier to get along with than the Korean. I mean, I've watched anime with subs before but I find the French voices are just perfect. Plus it's in France? I dunno, maybe just me on that one. It works for me. xD
