I am an extremely casual fan but this is my only contribution to the discussion so far. Keith Silverstein, the English VA of Hawkmoth, seems to enjoy his role a lot resulting in fan encounters like this. I just really like seeing VAs who love their roles and job this much. (For fans of Genshin Impact, Keith is also the voice of Zhongli.) My sister loves watching the series and is constantly looking for videos like speculation and whatnot on Youtube so I wind up being exposed to spoilers a lot.  I might watch the entire series on my own now that I have Disney+ though. The lore and the various miraculous types interest me. |

So I, uh. Watched season 4 and the 10 episodes of season 5 that are available now elsewhere. X'D
It's been a while. Who're everyone's favourite characters?
My top two are Plagg and Nathalie. (An odd combo, but I like them for wildly different reasons. XD)

I'm definitely planning to catch up with this show properly for the sake of completion, but I am kind of dreading it.
From what I've seen of what awaits me, things get way too complicated in terms of lore and the number of superheroes and gimmicks. It's like they've pretty much used this show as a "quick, let's be the ones to make the MCU equivalent for kids!" I can only hope that all the new stuff crammed in there doesn't distract too much from the core plot, but let's face it, storytelling was not this show's strength at any point.
Congratulations on their success and all the marketing and merchandise options, though.
As for characters, I recall being fond of: Plagg,
*open mouth, close mouth* yep that's it!
Oh, and Luka. Way too good to be true, but a surprisingly strong character, and basically the teen I would have aspire to be. ;-;
Nathalie is more interesting than most of the rest.
Hawkmoth? Sometimes I'm tempted to root for him simply because his parts and plans involve less nonsense than the heroes.
M. Ramier. Look. He just loves pigeons. Let him be. He's valid.

Luka must be protected at all costs. I kind of wanted him and Marinette to end up together even if I know that's not the show endgame.
Also love Nathalie, if I get into this series more I might consider cosplaying her. She puts up with so much of Gabriel's Gabriel-ing.

Anyone know how many episodes of Season 5 have been dubbed into English? 1-9 are officially released right now. 10 & 12, and episodes 14-23 (I believe) are all finished and you can find some of them online from various leaks and that one time when channel Gloob aired two random episodes out of order. If you want to watch in order, I suggest stopping at 10 as episode 11 isn't finished yet (in any language), and it's part two of a two-parter. |

The new Miraculous Ladybug movie is coming to Netflix:
It's a retelling of Ladybug and Cat Noir's origins. Set for a July 28 release.
