Firstly, a Rinamian tried to enter the vehicle Ira was running toward. The Stitcher remained on her heels, urged by the Voices. The vehicle was not connected to the internal systems of the ship, but if they left the ship they could go. Ira found the escape vehicle, and dashed in, closing the door behind her. She threw herself onto the release lever. The Rinamian took the leap, and the Stitcher banged furiously on the door behind Ira. One of the Stitchers found the egg Ira had bitten from- they sought an opportunity for attention to be divided away so they might attempt saving the egg. In the mess hall the young Stitcher was joined by even younger Stitchers- those ambushed in the halls. They ate until they felt better, and proceeded to contaminate the rest of the food. The voices said to.

Nothing but a map and a basic throttle and steering mechanism. The egg was doomed. Only the tail end of the hatchling remained.

The Rinamian within the escape pod system sought to gain control over the vehicle, but a warning message was soon sent their way. The pod was on the edge of the operational range of the single satellite the Rinamians had in the region- staying much longer would endanger their life. They directed the teleportation of a tracking device that was set to turn on in a few hours- they still needed a ship to follow with. Then the Rinamian left the pod, jumping back to the ship. The Stitcher set the egg down, disappointed. They looked over the other eggs. The rest of the Stitchers waited for direction from the pirate leaders, as the voices said to do.

The Rinamians sent the prison a message, detailing that Ira had left the pirate ship in an escape pod and was exiting the space Rinamians could enter. They inquired whether continuing an attack on the pirate ship was an advisable move. Capturing and converting the ship into a pursuit vehicle after Ira was proposed. The Stitchers did what everyone else did. The Rinamian speaking with Kraicco quizzed him for more knowledge of the language so a download could be readily available for future use.

The prison said that it had no way of tracking the escape pod, and likely by the time they got close enough to do so she would be gone. They do suggest bringing the ship back tot he prison if possible to lock up the other couple of pirates. The others went back to their station, a few joined the pilots.

The survivors of the biting frenzy conquest were lined up behind them.

The little Stitchers were greeted enthusiastically by adult Stitchers, who picked up and coddled the babies before taking them home to Rinam. A request was sent to the prison for ownership over the pirate ship, once the prison had what they needed from it. In space a Rinamian floated around. They were seeking the Stitcher who had been cast out, but were sending home every body they found. It wouldn't be apparent until the bodies thawed who was the Stitcher. --- Later, a Stitcher adult was taking the Krakkurik Stitchers around Taco City. They crossed paths with a boy who seemed a little... off.

"What are you?" asked the little Stitcher, coming closer and sniffing him. "I... I am Luke!" He answered. He crouched down to greet the thing. "You're a Luke? That's a cool species name. I'mma Stitcher Crack." the little one responded enthusiastically, holding out their small hands to Luke. "Krakkurik" the adult corrected. The little one shrugged and gave Luke a large and toothy grin. Their face looked like worms had crawled under the skin and left twisted trails. "I was reborn today!" one of the others exclaimed. "I was too! And me!" the others chimed in as they gathered around the friendly stranger. They carried the same type of disfigurement as the first.
