Well, it appears that for the first time since the NTWF was founded, there is no NT editor representation or any TNT members here.
I have extended an invitation to Country Queen in several venues with no response. No new accounts have been identified with the new TNT or JS.
While I am hopeful they may stop by at some point in the future, or at least lurk around the boards, it will appear that any problems or questions with the NT will have to be replied to from our own membership and not from anyone from Neopets.
Of course, that doesn't mean our membership can't ask *nicely* that Country Queen stop by and check us out. She can be reached at the nt_editor account on Neopets, from that I'm told.

So, it looks like JSN's making the same mistake Viacom first did when it comes to fansites like us by ignoring us instead of engaging/acknowledging us. It's definitely a shame.

Except if anybody would know how the site works, it's the old userbase. We're extending them a hand of help and friendship of our own volition and without asking them to pay us for it. It's kinda short-sighted that they're ignoring it. I'll continue to hope for the best, but...

I'm hoping once she's caught up with all the submissions (she did mention in the editorial she had tons of submitted entries backed up) that she'll check this site out and join. (:

That's true, but I am just advising that people who post their problems with the NT here aren't going to have them addressed like they used to.

The real shame is that like most companies these days, JS has a designated community team - which are not getting involved with the community. If that's not Country Queen's role, so be it, but it is /someone's/ role. And community to them appears to mean the odd post on Facebook and Twitter.

If CQ doesn't join the NTWF, does that mean the death of the great collaborations? Those have always been arranged here. I fear if we try to arrange those by neomailing nt_editor, the Neomail could be missed, buried under the barrage of other questions CQ receives. At least with the thread, we could keep all communications in one place.

I'm so glad you posted this. But still, I want to hope she eventually gets to the NTWF. That personal connection really made the Times special, and coming from someone who would message Droplet all the time... I really miss that. She went above and beyond to provide us with an amazing opportunity. Will this mean the death of the Great Collabs? Well, not entirely. But I don't see them returning in the foreseeable future. |

I think the whole question deserves quoting, though the last bit is the best.
It's great to hear just how much she enjoys our submissions. And as a plus, she's really getting to know the site lore as we, the writers and artists of Neopia see it. So, I guess if you want to influence how Jumpstaff shapes Neopets, this is how we do it, by doing what we already do anyway.
