Ghoul Catchers has been down a few days for non-mobile users, and recently went down for mobile as well, according to the discussions on the help boards (I'm not a mobile user). Yup. tried installing it on my android tablet when it went down on friday, but it kept telling me username/password don't match. XD TRYING TO TRAIN A PET HERE, JUMPSTAFF. CODESTONES AIN'T CHEAP. WHERE ELSE CAN I PLAY THE FIRST LEVEL 50 TIMES AND MAKE 50K. Obviously the solution would be to give a full set of free codestones to all users every day. I kid. XD (Maybe.) (I mean, stuff is already deflated, right?) It depends on supply and demand, but with Trudy's giving away 100K np every 25 days (and 366K from days 10-25 for two matching symbols), it counterbalances the cost of the codestones.

It also allows more disposable income without increasing the supply of codestones, thus driving up the demand for codestones, which in turn drives up the price (I was used to Eo Codestones being 14k up until recently). Anyway, I was mostly kidding about the free codestones part. XD It wouldn't be as satisfying if there wasn't -some- cost to training (you know, besides massive amounts of waiting time), and I'm pretty sure many seasoned BDers would be mad that all of their time and energy and NP were gone to moot.

I mean you can get pretty close to a free set of codestones every day from just battling in the Dome of the Deep haha

Whut, Ghoul Catchers works fine for me on my mobile. I'm a sucker for Bejeweled-type games so I poke around with it every now and again.
The codestone supply probably went way up with that Dome of the Deep output, I'm pretty sure that before that point the Tombola was the only way you could ever get them. 'course, the new Battledome is worth playing for prizes, the old one only really got attention during plots, so in broad strokes it sorta evens out.

What mobile you playing on? I've seen that Android users have been having less problems with it than iOS users (and Facebook users seem right out). But it doesn't seem to be blanket broken - there are periods where it works fine. Just in between periods of it not working at all. Not sure what the problem can be since JS's other mobile games aren't breaking in the same way.

The title for the second image in the Chia Day art gallery (2344)...
Really?

o_0 The title for the second image in the Chia Day art gallery (2344)... Really? No no no, you got it all wrong. The title is actually avant garde. You see one of the Chia represents the side account and the other represents the main. "Note to editor" is not directed at the staff member in charge of putting the images up but rather to the viewer. The viewer is the "editor", and thus its the "editor's" (aka the viewer's) job to figure out which one is the side and which is the main. Is the Strawberry the side since it's behind the Chocolate thus making it the main? Or is the Strawberry the main since the title does include the word "accidentally" which could relate to the word "random" and the only way to get a Chocolate Chia is via Lab Ray or the Rainbow Fountain, both acts of random (meanwhile to get a Strawberry Chia one usually buys a Magical Strawberry Chia Pop and feeds it to them, MAINly on purpose). Thus the struggle to figure out which one is which shows that the two can be one and the same, just like how though they represent different accounts the accounts belong to one person, bringing it full circle.

So, should we even talk about the lawsuit going through and JS lawyering up?
Because if his name was known and this little stunt causes Neopets to close people will tar and feather him... and then set him on fire. So with that said, we should know his name because if nearly 15 years of my life suddenly is taken from me I WANT SOMEONE TO BLAME.
Yes, JS needs to improve their Premium services (and fix the problems with it) and maybe having been almost sued will scare them to get their act together. But I'm saying that assuming this case doesn't go through. If this does, I don't even want to think what will happen. I'm still sort of convinced this is a former player upset at JS and wants to "strike back" at them not realizing or caring this could end Neopets. And that's on top of it had been mentioned on the Membership Sing-up Hub page that it automatically renews so, according to this case, they did warn you about the automatic payments. Am I missing something?
As I said, while I hope this case doesn't go through for the site's sake, it scares JS into finally fixing the problems with Premium.

Regardless of the player, the lawyer that got hold of it is fairly obviously fishing. Neopets isn't the only site to be targeted using these laws. And the figure they have set for damages is coincidentally the maximum you can have before defendants can move the court to the federal level (where they are more likely to throw it out).
The lawyers JS have got are class action specialists, so it seems like there will be a reasonable fight though.
That said, it's not simply about there being text on the page. According to the law there has to be an affirmative popup when you sign up. There isn't for Neopets. Details on how to cancel via help links or FAQs need to be clearly communicated. Because Neopets has had a broken FAQ section since the help overhaul for a number of players, that's not been provided. The most shaky claim is that the small print is too small/out of the way - but the other two hold up. It's a silly law, sure. I don't believe anyone who signed up for premium since 2010 thought it was a one off payment forever. But it's the law.

No wonder CQ seemed so snappy when answering the question about the Premium issues in the editorial this week. Surprised she was even allowed to answer it with this lawsuit thing apparently picking up steam. Anyway, Herdy has a point with the FAQ thing. There's a reason why you see other sites tripping over themselves to explain their billing policy, how they handle subscriptions, and how to cancel at any point - all in full-size, easy to read text - before they ask for your credit card info. Neopets does explain that it's a recurring submission, true, but, as far as I can tell, there are no instructions anywhere on-site on how to cancel said subscription until after you sign up. I do agree, though, that the amount is a bit excessive. o.O

So.... Trudy's surprise just activated an hour early.
And then it doesn't deactivate even when you spin it.

So.... Trudy's surprise just activated an hour early. And then it doesn't deactivate even when you spin it. It's not doing anything strange for me. (And it's 24 hours from the last spin anyways, not daily reset time, right?) Have you tried clearing your cache, etc.?
