I still haven't heard anything on my story that I submitted for the Christmas issue. I'm getting a bit worried. Is it too late to hope for this weeks' issue? I told her to use it for another issue if she needed to, but it's definitely Christmas themed, so... yeah.

Ahhhh I am excite! Spur of the moment story I wrote while I should have been studying for finals. I haven't written/submitted anything in almost a year, heh. Allison , I submitted early last week and got the NM a few hours ago. I'm not entirely sure how the NT acceptance letters/times work, but I think you still have a shot.  |

There have been times in the past I remember where submissions for special issues got NM'd down to the literal last minute due to busier scheduling, so I think there's still a chance you might hear back before the week's end :3 If nothing else, though, I'm sure the story would still work near the holiday time, even if it's not in the Christmas issue; the festivity doesn't have to end there, and I'm sure there'll be holiday-related entries yet to come in the next few weeks! |

So... Has anyone gotten the acceptance note (rather than held over) and then not had it appear in that issue? Because I'm not seeing my entry... And I just realized that since the news came out on the 21st and it was released early that the acceptance letter was probably sent after the Christmas issue was finalized and mine will be in next week's. Or the week after, since they are all out of the office... *says to self* Patience, young grasshopper.

Okay, now this one follows the process of my last TWR story (impulse write, all written within three hours (except for the first paragraph or so), little editing if any), has an ending I think fell flat, and now sort of clashes with the canon at this point.
How this happened, I have no clue.
