Woohoo! Third successful entry in a row, third featuring my favorite pet, and the second about her and her friendship with a canon character. TNT approves of my headcanons. Anyone else get in? Got a holdover notice? Let's pass the time by discussing our stories and congratulating each other.

My first two comics have been both been held over and accepted! You can read them in the NT now (one in the latest issue). I cannot thank Droplet enough.

Just got confirmed and got another trophy! Hopefully it is indeed in the Christmas issue, as that's what I wrote it for. Haha. Now to continue writing the Collab piece.

Can somebody help me with the length of my two part series? TNT keeps saying that I'm not hitting the minimum for some reason.

Can somebody help me with the length of my two part series? TNT keeps saying that I'm not hitting the minimum for some reason. What kind of help are you looking for? Some general advice on length, a read over for specific pointers, something else? Or does your series have the appropriate length already? The way you worded it, it sounds like there's some glitch or miscommunication between your series and TNT and you're not sure what to do about it.

Here was the reply I got from TNT:
Dear The Beautiful Snaw,
Your Neopian Times submission (Usuki Singing Stars #23: The Almost Graduation) was rejected because it did not meet the minimum length requirement. The minimum length for a short story is at least 1200 words. Series should be at least 1500 words, while articles should be no less than 1000 words.

Part 1: 1,522 words Part 2: 1,748 words I bet that Part 1 is the issue. Sometimes the form doesn't like series that are a little too close to the word limit, and you only beat it by 22 words. I would try to bump it up to maybe 1600 or 1650, and try again.

Part 1: 1,522 words Part 2: 1,748 words Your problem is that all total your word count is less than 4k, the maximum for a short story. They don't like it when you try to submit a series that could be a short story because your word count is below the 4k. Resubmit it as a short story and it'll probably get accepted.
