The last episode YES JUST YES Stevonnie's existence makes me really happy Also Connie continues to be one of my favorite characters, I like how her social anxiety is portrayed here. Yeah it was pretty good XD It was a mixture of weird and cool at the same time. Loved Garnet's reaction to things XD Also, anyone notice that Sour Cream's equipment? XD Yes, Garnet's huge grin was fantastic XD Especially since she normally isn't expressive at all. I also liked Lars and Sadie turning into egg-eyed, slackjawed blobs XD And yes the retro equipment was great XD Also how he mentioned that some of his friends from the Internet would be there XD |

About the last episode I'm not a fan (pretty much hate) of Uncle Grandpa... But the last episode was funny. Mostly for Pearl's reactions. And that Pizza Steve was eaten.. |

I wasn't looking forward to it either, but it was HILARIOUS. I loved it. THIS ShOW. <333 I've been raving to some of you on Skypechat about watching it, but eeee I love it so muchhh <3 Something kinda interesting/cool that I noticed (that might count as a spoiler if you haven't finished Season 1): The only canon couple that isn't somebody's parents is non-heterosexual (Ruby and Sapphire, of course). When has THAT ever happened in a kids' cartoon series before???
(I don't count Steven/Connie because while there is minor shiptease, they are largely just friends, and while Lars and Sadie crush on each other to some extent they're not officially together. So YMMV on that but yes, I count Ruby and Sapphire as the only non-parental canon couple.) Also, Jailbreak, guys. That episode. That reveal. That song. I'm still not over it. <3333 |
