Okay, that made me giggle XD I'd been expecting Mel to be an animal handler or something, I'm surprised you decided to reference that scene rather than an overarching character... thing for her. Lol. I think my favorites are "holy vodka by LUCILLE ERATA" and the set of camera-related credits. Oh, and "Always being watched by LELAND G. BARDSLEY"... You know what, I'm gonna stop here before I just say that they're all my favorite XD ANYWAY, that poster looks awesome and you should be proud. Great job! I finally got around to scanning stuff, so have another massive sketchdump! XD Hope you guys enjoy. ^^ Real life outside Mafia III was a bit busy, so I feel somewhat guilty that I literally only drew Piper and Webster while the actual game was going on. D: I'll put those up first, I guess. xD (Beware of spoilers, as always!) (Also beware of inconsistent sizes of Webster.) Piper Boudreaux  WEBSTERRRR  Webster!  Chasm Scene  Gotcha!  Aaaaaand now for post-epilogue stuff and not- entirely-strictly-canon stuff. =D  Just after Piper's epilogue...  ...Although THIS next part probably isn't canon. xP I showed the lyrics to a couple of you a while back, but then I got stuck in an airport for ten hours, and I decided that I had time to illustrate it. 8D This was way too much fun. Sing it to "Do You Want to Build a Snowman."  You guys and your terrible, terrible, wonderful influence. *shakes head* Have a Camouflage Ruki for Neopet!Piper. ^^; ((Gah, why are there no wearable cameras? It's a partial giant artdump! =D Translation: I am currently away from a proper scanner, but I have some things I drew and scanned beforehand that I can share, and some drawings that are not too badly butchered by this-scanner-that-I-have-access-to's lack of brightness adjustment, plus some digital drawings that I've finished. With a little luck, once my regular scanner and I are reunited, you'll be treated to yet another sketchy artdump (one that has more characters). But for now, I hope you enjoy these! Please beware of rambles, and as always, beware of spoilers for all three of these events! ^_^ Since I put Esther Rickshaw in my avatar (from Mafia I), I figure I should share the drawings I have of her. All...uh... all three of them!The first little doodle of Miss Rickshaw, as drawn in my class notes. (I was studying abroad that summer when Mafia I was going on.)  Knocking out a GSIS agent with a cast-iron wok.  And kicking out Tracy and Jenkins from the Netwaffle library. (Her apartment is on the floor above.)  Now have some Medieval stuff. =3   Jailbreak! You've seen this in the Behind the Shadows thread, but I'll put it here, too. ^^  (I also made a signature size.)  As an apology, I drew this when I was out of town for about three days during the RP. (Largely for Kristy, since I had told her that I'd have internet in our hotel room and our characters could still interact--but then OH LOOK, there's no internet after all! Haha, aw DANGIT. D: )  I know three days isn't much, but when you're in an RP as engrossing as Medieval, it feels like forever. xD And THEN add in the fact that when I returned and got caught up, it turned out you guys had killed Kelcey and started an international Courdonian incident in my absence, and H O L Y C O W. 8I Clearly the moral of the story is that Lizica should never leave in the middle of an NTWF roleplay.Also, a rough reference for Aldrich's marble staff. (It's much taller, but I ran out of room.)  (While I was designing it, I kept thinking, "Haha! All those years in high school of doodling magic staffs in my note margins is finally paying off!" |DDD *brick'd*) Here's a finished piece, one that I've been wanting to do for a while. Darker atmosphere and symbolic significance for Piper (Mafia III). ((Note: Each Abominable Aifam member had a different card suit. Travis was hearts, Nathan spades, Hermia diamonds, and Piper clubs.))  Explanation time (you don't have to read all of it): There are a lot of important Piper posts for her development and arc with regard to Webster and their relationship (ie, the Burrow Scene, the Chasm Scene), but I think the post where ghost!Piper yells at Pratchett ( link) is important to showing that although Piper is a comic character, as a mafioso, she is actually very broken and human. Here's an journal excerpt I wrote during the game. (I...may or may not have put way too much thought into these characters, and I wrote a lot of nerdy mini-essays about Piper and Webster.) Anyway: And also And thus, until that happens, we have a drowning ace of clubs, obscuring in part an old photograph or two, of uncertain pasts and uncertain depths. ...Okay, sorry if that got a little heavy. Have some mood whiplash and another drawing that I've wanted for a very, very long time. ^____^ |

My scanner and I have been reunited for a brief time. Therefore I shall dump tons of Medieval fanart here. I hope you guys enjoy! I still have more stuff in progress and more things on my Medieval Sketch To-Do List, because there are just too many cool things to draw. But for now--first, I want to say thank you to everyone who has ever drawn Medieval fanart and shared it, because I probably used your awesome art for inspiration and/or reference. *bows* I guess first I'll put the Travis Richem and the Nature Chicks picture here again, since it's now been properly scanned. ^^ And then...Medieval stuff. So much Medieval stuff that I'm breaking them up into separate spoilers. xD As usual, PLOT SPOILERS BEWARE! Two things from my mini-sketchbook and another...random thing. xD Aldrich at the funeral procession (with Rasp and Riffler) and Babewyn at my doctor's office. xB  As we have established, you guys are a terrible influence when it comes to trying out character doll makers. xP  An important public service announcement That's right, NTWF, you are greatly partially to blame that I've made so little headway on my Neopets arc this past summer. :I For shame. For shame, you mad geniuses.Those pep rallies aren't very peppy I wanted to draw something cute to make fun of the Rapunzel-Aldrich similarities, but then I was reminded of some of the opening dialogue of Tangled, and it turned into a comic. xD (With bonus random tangential rambles afterwards.)  ((Pro-tip, Aines--if you want a break, don't tell Babewyn.)) I imagine this comic takes place after the main RP. (Aldrich's clothing actually fits, instead of being baggy.) I like to think that one of the castle mages got wind of Babewyn's confetti incident and thought it was so funny that they made some more for her. xP So, for that tangential ramble, can I talk about the magistrate for a bit? xD (Remember him? He appeared in only one post when he told Aldrich he had to fix the cemetery after what his sculptures did to it.) I seriously debated bringing him back into the roleplay at least twice during the game so he could appraise Aldrich's (rather *cough* unorthodox) work in the royal cemetery (and maybe even find Sgraffito's missing ear) and get Aldrich into more trouble. But in a rare instance of an NPC appearing and later even getting a headcanon name, I just kept feeling like there was too much going on for ol' Roderick to fit, and so he never came back in canon before the end of the game. But I do like to imagine that when Roderick eventually hears the news that the new king is one of the city sculptors, he kind of quietly panics but then calms himself down with "...Hah. Hah. It couldn't possibly be that clumsy, ridiculous Finnegan fellow I vaguely threatened when I instructed him to fix the royal cemetery. That would be preposterous. Hah! Just imagine, that fool as king." ...And then when he finally meets Aldrich again, Roderick is just inwardly think-shrieking, "Oh 'Woo, oh 'WOO, not him. What have I done, I hope he won't sentence me to death, oh 'Woo, why did it have to be him. D8" Aldrich, however, looks slightly nervous for a second and then asks, "Um, I don't still have to pay the fine for the royal cemetery incident, do I?" ...At which point Magistrate Roderick probably crumples into some kind of awful sobbing-with-relief grovelling posture and tells Aldrich that of course he doesn't, my lord, goodness no, my lord. (All of which makes Aldrich extremely uncomfortable.) And afterwards, Babewyn probably finds him extraordinarily fun to prank. xP Ilaria and Lucinda being back-to-back epic~  I don't care if this didn't happen in canon, I needed to draw it. ;~; </3 Even after the RP ended, I kept getting this persistent mental image of Aldrich being shoved off the cliff during the Bloody Coronation and creating a parachute for himself. (Magic dust is so much fun to draw, you guys.)  (And now that I've drawn this, now I've got another similar mental image that won't leave me alone, so I'll probably end up drawing that later as well. xD) Babewyn chatters to Salpheon, one of my characters from elsewhere. ^^ Chibis of the main canon ships all watching a 3D movie, because... ...um... ... Or, if you don't like how I drew your character, please let me know so I can change it. (Or, if you think I should have included so-and-so, please file your request pending review.) Random notes (feel free to skip): - Key is at the bottom if you don't want to guess who's who. ^^ - Please don't put too much thought into how I ordered the characters. xD It's fairly random. It was often a matter of "who else has their reference pic on this page" and "I can't draw this character without the other" and "who's fairly easy to draw" and so on. (I actually drew Aldrich first as my experiment drawing, but he came out kinda derpy, so I drew him again at the end.) - Some of these I'm happier with than others, and I'd like to apologize if you're not pleased with how your character came out. The confetti comic amuses me a great deal. You convey action and personality very well, in your poses, they all look really natural.
Chibi ships are adorable, especially Davorinne. XD And I'm amused how Kelcey is phasing through his chair. And Elvier are just being cuddly.

Artdump time again! With extra blathering rambles!~ Also, I should just put up a permanent sign on my art thread: If you are looking at images and rambles here, there will probably be spoilers for NTWF events I've participated in, so always bewaaaaarrrreeee~I volunteered to help with a Halloween event, and in between tours I basically sat in the spooky office by myself and doodled characters in my mini-sketchbook the whole time. xD Outside canon, that contractor who built our fourth wall did a really shoddy job. (Also, Lizica thinks you're all very cool, but her characters don't always feel the same. D: )  It's a good thing that Aldrich didn't tell her that the AU we were theorizing about that prompted this reaction was not, in fact, an AU where Aldrich dies. D: It was actually worse in a lot of ways, wherein he's still kidnapped, but because Starmey was never born, Galateo's kidnapping sparks a Courdon-Kyth war and then Sam and Aldrich are eventually found out and Aldrich is sent to live with his uncle in Courdon where he's treated like a political puppet and AUGH. *clings to canon* ;~; THANK YOU STARMEY YOU SAVED US This was a test sketch, just to see if it would work. But then my motivation went poof, so I guess I may as well share the unfinished sketch. My original plan was to draw this quotation illustrated, with nice rainy lettering and with Elin and Xavier making up the "T" and the "H."  And thus the servants decided to always put up signs in the future. I promise Aldrich is a capable king, but sometimes....  Skype-inspired, after a misreading led to a lot of hilarious conversation and some great mental images. xD ^____^ "Uncle Galateo knows all about tea parties!"  In which Babewyn and Emery do costume theatre to make fun of the inevitable wave of suitors that probably happens. 8D;;; (...This may not make much sense if you haven't seen the Lizzie Bennet Diaries. xD) (Obviously not canon.)  (Please don't get the wrong idea from Babewyn's hammy acting; Aldrich would never marry someone the sculptures disapproved of. xD) And to finish this sketchdump with an image and some rambly notes about Medieval RP role stuff: There were a lot of times where it was tricky to hide Aldrich's role, but a few of the most interesting times were when I accidentally wrote symbolically- or thematically-loaded scenes. I decided to write them and leave them, but you have no idea how much I worried that someone else would overanalyze and read into the hidden symbolism and correctly guess who he was. XD - When Aldrich went to the royal cemetery to do repairs--Galateo is supposed dead, but Aldrich literally goes and instills life back into the cemetery. (I mentioned a spinning wheel at the time of the post because of all the connotations of the traditional wheel of fortune and such. It doesn't work perfectly any more, but.) - After Babewyn and Emery set off the blaring vase, Babewyn is excited and insists that she thinks that although the blaring vase already does something now, after it's been fired, it might do something different. - When the kiln sneezes onto Aldrich and Babewyn, Aldrich sits up and rises out of the ashes, coughing. ...There were a lot of little things. xD I'll stop now. TL;DR, though, Lizica is CRAZY and overthinks symbols, and then she wound up with a character who is intertwined with themes of life and death. xD I still have so many things on my Medieval Sketch To Do List. It never ends. xD Hope you enjoyed something in this one! ^^ |
