I don't remember you saying you were making a banner, but I'm very glad you did! <3 It made me smile so hard, and then again when I saw it first appear as an actual banner at the top of 'recent posts'! The glowy effects around Queen show really well here, Timmy looks suitably uncertain, and Nyx taking a selfie is way too perfect. xD I wonder what Espin is looking so concerned about though?

I wonder what Espin is looking so concerned about though? He's probably concerned about the inconsistent goings-on of the movie or the bad movie physics and is getting mentally ready to point out these things too awful even for him to the other villains, whether they want to hear or not. (Also, I noted this over Skype, but I love the banner. \ o / It's great to see all the villains together and it's a great addition to the banner rotation.)

So those Neopets requests I mentioned in my Spring Cleaning list: I think I'm just about done with them. Oh, not that I've gotten through my whole list, but I've just done so many and I am SO ready to move on to other things that I'm calling quits here xD There's one that I'm still probably gonna finish as I've already got it started, but as for the others, I don't think it's worth picking and hunting for the usernames of requesters that I accidentally lost. So, here's an art dump of what I've made \o/ And don't think I forgot your request, Rabbit ♠ ;3

Yeah, these have certainly taken some time x) At first I could do a batch of three to five a day, but it soon boiled down to one or two every other day xP Thanks!

I've still been drawing as normal, but there hasn't really been anything finished to present. It's been a lot of sketching, basically, and piling up ideas that I could draw but haven't gotten to for one reason or another (mostly due to my tablet still being weird and thus demotivating me from using it). So, partly because I've been feeling a lack of accomplishing things lately and partly because I'm proud of some of these sketches I'm pretty proud of, I'm gonna make a huge dump of them to show that I have indeed been productive xD Reference sketches! (the dresses are both Vera Wang, I felt like drawing wedding dresses to try out different fashion styles and also get more used to clothing folds) No reference sketch! The nose/chin area I'm still a bit iffy on, but seeing as this was just going off of memory of what a realistic face looks like, I'm pretty happy with it :3 I've noticed with hair lately that I've been focusing a lot more on where and how it comes out of the scalp; I've found starting there really helps figure out the flow and placement of it as it goes down. Still trying to figure out the ever elusive male figure! Getting closer(?), perhaps? (Blurry?) Crystal dinosaur! Hands! (these are actually my most recent sketches, drew them today) Undertale, but mostly Undyne because she is best design. These were all an exercise in not using guide lines before making the final product, and I sort of want to do more of that to help loosen myself up and get more confident in my drawing. I've been watching this show recently because... I'm not quite sure (it's one of those shows where it's not really my thing, but I still can't help but want to see where it goes, and also I watched like half of the first season a while ago and want to finish what I started xD So, like a lot of magic girl cartoons, tbh) This was bound to happen after so many episodes because, their outfits, they're so pretty, I just, I need to draw them all x3 I'm trying to draw all four Earthbound leads, and so far Paula is done, Ness is my wip right now. His pose is probably gonna change, though, because it's not dynamic enough imo And I guess I do have one finished piece, and this was for a digital art class I took this last semester. We had to make book jackets for an already existing novel, and I made mine completely from scratch. It's for How to Steal a Dragon's Sword because it's the only book from recent history whose plot I can remember and who I care about enough to draw an entire jacket for. This isn't including all the text and ad/barcode images:

XD That used to be my obsession in middle/early high school. Not because the plot line was anything spectacular, but because the outfits were sooooo pretty and the wiiiings ajfdskjfkd. And the animators did that smart thing where they made the outfits prettier with each season, so even if I stopped watching the actual show I'd still go back just to see the new transformations/outfits LOL!
It's a guilty pleasure. Also one of the main reasons why I drew fairies for so long. XD But ah, glad I'm not the only one who found it strangely addicting! XD

*bursts through the door* I will finally do my Wrighton art dump today!! To kick it off, let's dump all the pics of my main rp character: Liz!
Liz Bishop! The profile pictures of her I used throughout the game... And hey, uncovered some concept sketches! Looks like I had a different last name in mind for her before x3 I changed to Bishop though to sort of play into the royalty motif I had behind the scenes for Liz and Mary's names. Not that a bishop is a position of royalty, but I guess I was going some chess angle. At least, I was trying to be not too obvious about it x3 Also, before I settled on lop rabbits, I had in mind that Liz would have a pet cat, specifically a napoleon munchkin (which is an adorable breed, look it up =o). Due to the already heavy presence of cats in the game, though (and even heavier later on), I thought a different animal would be more distinctive for her. Sticking Liz on a roof too early in the morning doesn't lead to good things. ....especially if it's a dirty pub roof with glass shards lying around. Sometimes you can only take so much teleportation and roof slumber parties before you need a break. Over halfway through the game, and only then was I able to reference Liz's fashion pursuits x3 One day, I got curious about how Liz might look without her usual makeup (and although the roof pics already show this, I didn't put much attention at all into the detail of her face in them), so I did a side by side comparison And in that same vein, here's the most natural Liz I can draw (with bonus high school!Liz) (I may or may not have shamelessly copied the hairline Huntress gives Liz in her drawings) If Liz were ever to visit the beach... And now, for my spoiler character, Mary: Bloody Mary! Profile Pic When Mary doesn't get her full night's sleep What if Mary was a hooman? ...Apparently all my other art of her is still unfinished. Guess I should get onto that soon, then x3 But then, when the game reached its later stages, we all got the chance to create something of a new character to go alongside our normal ones. So, even more spoiler character, Theo: Magic girl transformation sequenceHer design easily took me the longest to figure out, so she's gotten the most concept art (and I'm not sure even this is all of it x3) And of course, I made some comics for Wrighton as well! Mary's debut... What happens when my character is out of commission during Big Things, and I'm too lazy to write words to catch up: If you're gonna write the monster of all monster posts, the least you can do is make a quick, straightforward post summary. And then, with credit to Liou , this scenario of the Kiss Messenger was created! (another Birdy tag) Finally, there's the art I made of all the other characters! Kathleen and her favorite things Scip in kitty form, as a part of the underground Scitty movement Fraze Beatrice, upset about the "supernatural" ability she inherited (but hey, still got a nice t-shirt out of it, right?) June Scarlet Holly and Dunkin on the job Shinko My membership card for the Esther Fan Club Harper and Spoiler!Harper Tiger Spoiler!Maggie Celestial Audo and Liz listening to music together in Birdy and mine's hospital collab ...I should get a count of all these.

So, for a digital motion art class I'm in this semester, our final project is pretty open in terms of what we can make, and how to make it. For mine, I went the route of hand drawn animation (which I have no idea why, I am in no way an animator x'D), and among other assets, this is the draft I presented for our class critique today: (unfortunately didn't save the full draft to my personal computer, but I def want to show it with the background and everything when I can) What's so funny is that, upon seeing it, my professor said, "This is a good example of keeping interest in repetition. Because there's what, six frames to this?" Me: "Um, more like... ninety ^^;" Professor: "Whu--" \*does a double take* " There's ninety frames to this?" Me: "I mean, that's what I think I drew..." Professor: "Oh, uh... Well, that makes more sense, now that you say that...." Lol, he had initially thought that I had made a much shorter animation and looped it several times, when really I just looped it once in the whole thing xD Not that he was knocking my animation at all, he really enjoyed it, but lol just his initial reaction when I told him how many frames I drew xDDD

Have some Neopets art! So there's this fashion competition happening over on the neoboards art chat with a new drawing challenge each round, and while I'm not officially entered as a participant, there are also fan challenges that run alongside the main competition. I couldn't pass up the chance then to make pretty outfits and see how they fare xD Deuteros dressed up in a petpet-inspired outfit (I chose the Basic Blobikins) Zathandria in athletic wear influenced by Edna the Witch And between these, I also drew up some art requests.

April: Book cover project for digital art class May: Hand studies (twas the time of sketches for me) June: Liz from Wrighton July: A comic for Wrighton August: Liz and Audo for a Wrighton post (am I sensing a theme here?) September: Theo from Wrighton October: (phew done with Wrighton stuff!) My venture into filters continue with this new Neo gift; maybe one day I will truly understand how to actually use them without just spitballing x3 Also, coloring all of this *shudders*
