I just registered for my first ever 5K! It's one the "Color Run" ones, so it's untimed and I've been assured I'll have enough time to finish. This may not seem like a big deal, but it's something I've wanted to do for quite awhile now. As someone who had major hip surgery as a child and a hip replacement before age 30, it's something I've wanted to do to prove to myself that I could.  I already know I can make the distance, but I think this will make me get out there and practice, once the weather is better. I'm a bit nervous, but mostly excited! |

And I couldn't find it (been after it for a few weeks now)
and I was losing hope.
And then I tried a different section than usual in a shop I have vouchers for! =D
Found the band name. Only one CD? Please let it be the right one!

Okay so, I've been pretty anxious that this semester I'd be forced to pair up with a roommate like I was supposed to be last term but didn't due to circumstances concerning the other girl. It was looking pretty likely too, since the girl living next door to me was also alone due to her roommate having moved out. We were also getting an influx of new people in so I was really worried, since I quite like my personal space and not having to be self-conscious of all my little quirks and habits as well as not having to constantly watch myself so I don't make a social faux pas. This was all stressing me out.
Then the aforementioned girl turns up today and asks if she can leave her stuff with me for a bit because she's moving out. And the new people already have roommates, according to the people in the school office. So, in other words, I'm keeping this room. ^_^ One thing I'm uncertain about is whether it will reflect on my rent but it did not last semester so, fingers crossed.
But yay, single room. No stressing about getting time to myself to recharge my energy levels.

My parents were helping me pay for college, and basically that was my reward for good grades my first two years. Hey, I'll take it! lol And I say this as someone who generally loves being around people. Yay for getting a single room, and double yay for maybe not having to pay the extra cost normally associated with a single room! |

It's a wonderful day. =) Never thought I'd enjoy being back to work after several days off, but it was actually really good, and the day's only getting better from here.
