Okay, Fraze is sending a message to the Manor...how would the Manor handle a comm? Is it gonna just send it to Celestial since the message is for her? I'd like to acknowledge the message if Tiger's able to hear it, but I don't want her to magically eavesdrp on the Manor's answering machine or something =P I figured that since Spacefleet and the Mages have been trying to have some exchange of culture and knowledge and so on, the 'Fleet would have given the Manor a communicator so they could stay in contact. And the Manor could probably create an announcement system from that if it got a message that the Mages needed to hear and wasn't private. So it is possible that Tiger could hear the message. But since this seems to be a private one, Tiger couldn't. I'm guessing Celestial might have a communicator then.

I just realized that having a character with the first name of Dane who has a ship's computer with the name Cal is a pretty good setup for a Space Odyssey reference.
"Open the doors, Cal!" "I'm sorry, Dane, I just can't do that."
And just to be clear, this was totally unintended on my part, Spacefleet!Bacon's real name being Dane was decided during GW2(although I may not have actually mentioned it to anybody; I know I abbreviated it to "D." during the posts that revealed his last name as Lewis), while I didn't think to abbreviate "Excalibur" to "Cal" until the writing of my first GW4 post.

Just need to confirm something. In my last post, I'd assumed that Amneiger knew about Bacon's orders, which was why he'd ordered Bacon to stay back. On the other hand, a more careful reading of Fraze's post shows that this might necessarily have been the case. Fraze, I don't suppose you can confirm which it is?

I wondered about the same thing after I posted. Bacon said the message went to his earpiece, so unless Amnei heard that, I don't think he would know about those orders.

Ah, I had assumed Amnei didn't know about those orders. I suppose it's possible that Fraze sent a broad-spectrum transmission, and the ship's computer automatically forwarded it to his earpiece.

Hmm, I guess I'll decide that Amneiger didn't know about those orders after all. New post up.

Mrm, Celestial, I may need for some holes to get filled in (and a map of Castle Kestrel would, admittedly, help, hey knightpeople?)
So the mages sneak into the library from the outside, rummage around for books, leave, assemble at the front door. Pirates sneak into the library from the inside through the kitchen door and up the tower after the mages had left, rummage around for books, set out to summon dangerous ethereal beings (presumably involved another trip to the kitchen). How did the mages even see the pirates, having already gathered at the front door? Unless you just retconned that latter part and we're assuming that we got to the library before you ever got around to gathering at the front door. (Or the front door there meant the library front door, in which case the pirates just snuck past the mages with a great huge winged horse in tow x'D)

It wouldn't make much sense for us to go outside when the portal is inside. Let's just say that the mages hid from the pirates and snuck away while you were summoning death but since I was the last out, I saw what was going on. Do you think this will appease the plot hole?

Considering how we spent a fair few hours searching through books and you were already done with your searching when we came in, it means that you sat behind a shelf very very patiently, waiting until we were done reading some engrossing crime novel xD (and that would totally happen. I can knock through a short novel in two hours.) Works for me, anyway. Means that a) there's more action to go around and b) relevant information reaches more people. Now all I need to do is write a post >>;

She had been wanting to get into tabletop gaming for ages and what better way to start than with a famous game like that (her character class would be 'tech supporter'). *brick'd* Okay. Eh, let's just chalk it up to the guild world being weird. It enables more stuff that can happen anyway.

Okay, I finally made a post. Sorry for not being active, guys. Feel free to call me out on anything I read wrong.
I also want to make another Alaric post, but that'll come later when I figure out what I want to do with him next. I was thinking about him being on a ship orbiting the planet standing by to survey and defend the planet.

Am I the only one who the Librarian's epic stunt made them think of Raven from Teen Titans and/or Marceline from Adventure Time?
