The Skype chat has been getting the bulk of the banter until now, so I think it's time to have it on the forum proper.
So, what do you plan to do with this turn of events?
Also, since I didn't get to do it in the Game of Skill thread proper-like:
Fraze's initial vision for the game was to have all of the players transported to different parts of a maze, which they would then explore in order to discover secrets, fight enemies, and join up with one another again. This challenge got downscaled and eventually became the bluebird maze in the first stage.
In that iteration of the plan, Euripides was meant to be the primary antagonist, toying with the players for his own amusement.
Bluebeard's tower was originally conceived as having only 4-5 floors, and at each turn players would either go up a floor or stay at the one they were on. Also, Bluebeard was going to be stalking the tower himself, moving between floors and sending players back to the start.
The third stage started out as a dating sim, with many small choices to make, and branching paths. We eventually decided that this would be too difficult to plan out, and opted to develop the surrounding story more rather than focusing entirely on getting Belle.
The fourth stage was the most difficult one to pin down, since we couldn't figure out what to do with it. In fact, it very nearly became The Little Mermaid rather than Snow White--but we couldn't find anything to do with that either! Finally somebody (probably Fraze) suggested turning it into a murder mystery, and everything went from there.
