Sorry for my absence. I've mostly just been distracted with the Mafia RP, but once that's done, I should be back in relatively full swing. Though I should try to get back into this now. I'm just waiting for anyone else to have more word with the King on-- actually, it's probably my turn on that, isn't it? ^^; Okay, I'll start brainstorming.
I actually don't quite know what the books contain. I'm guessing that the books probably have to do with histories of the generals or maybe stuff on the horsemen or something. I honestly don't know. I'm open to ideas. Celes, did you have any idea on what books were given to Gelquie?
In any case, there's really not much for Gelquie to do right now except hide and read. ...In the middle of the conquered castle. But even then, that's probably not too hard to leave/hide. So that's why I'm not posting much on her.

Find a cardboard box, and hide under it, no matter where it's located, like in the middle of a hall. 99% of the time, people will ignore the box. 1% of the time, someone will check.
Yeah, I'm not totally sure what to do either XD Dragus, I can make fight back or try to escape any time he wants... But it's suicide. The same with Draco launching a assault on the zombie armies with the ninja army... Suicide XD
Gil just walked, I'm going to guess? into the place the guilds are meeting. So now there's a Steampunk rep (since no clue what happened to the others >.>). For the most part the Steampunks don't have much to say about the war unless the zombies decide to go the opposite direction and attack them XD Otherwise they're safe.
And yeah, just really waiting for the King to report and order the attack, then everyone can probably roll out and try to attack and such. Of course, as the Advisor, I mostly just follow them XD So I would probably have to wait for the Kingdom armies to roll out.

Our main problem right now is locations (and I should get off my lazy backside and update that there map, yes). Like, there's Stinky-pile-o-poo (on the southern coast, out of the way of everything), there's Castle Kestrel (southwest, doesn't have a lot of action right now, I'm guessing Miss Jensen is currently marathoning Sex and the City in the throne room), the zombie army (somewhere on the east-west road to Castle Kestrel, middle of all sorts of nowhere) and then our impending third side (looking at the world map, the only place they can be is far east, because everything else is either sea or mountains). In other words, people are scattered all over the kingdom. And when people are scattered all over the kingdom, they won't have anyone else to talk to, information doesn't move and action dwindles. So what we need is to move people and move info. Even if it means pulling stuff out of a donkey's backside. I got half a plan of having Miss Jensen toss guilders through portals to face the new army at some point, because you lot are basically a perfectly good mercenary army for her to employ to protect her land without having to sacrifice her own zombies. And keep in mind that she still has a side-objective of giving Euripides a story to watch, and the guy has probably been making a commercial break sandwich for a while now. (And you know how it is with a good marathon, you just want to see that one more episode.) Draco, I technically just gave you (and Pixie) the tentative option to escape, if you so wish to take it. 'course, I won't deny that Mr Totally Just A Beer Merchant Pinkie Swear is all sorts of suspicious xD But as long as things are interesting? Also, Fraze here is claiming that he'll totally definitely post soon. I'll take it upon myself to poke him with pointy things to this end.

There is nothing left to discuss at the Committee and I'm up for a fight with the pirates, just to kick off the war. ^^ It would be nice to check on Brassport but it's unlikely that they would want an alliance with the Mages and it would be a tentative one. Celestial wouldn't been keen on wasting any more time either, she's got the main force, Spacefleet, so it would be time to start planning an attack. Of course, if she finds out about the army heading their way, it might be interesting if they ally with either them or Jensen against whoever is the most threatening.
As for the army itself, Princess Dulcia is ready to go as soon as her father orders it. She's chomping at the bit to get her hands on Dunbarrow and I assume she's going to be leading the main invasion force and be at the front lines. But, GLQ, as for what she does, I'm leaving that in your king's capable hands...for now.
I have no idea what the books are about so they can be about anything the plot requires. Could be about how to free the generals or how to fight them, exploit any weaknesses they might have. Honestly, crack them open when you're in a tight spot for exposition galore.

Well, if there's possibly a fight comin' up, Lord Hayati, it might be good if you posted with your ninja(?) character sometime soon, so the two of us know where our characters are when/if the cutlasses and spells and laser blasts start flying.

Sorry, I've been rather busy lately. I just finally created Ellen's brother, Ash, and he's now updated in my persona thread post. In a short while, I'll post something for my characters. I'm not bring characters to any new settings, though. Gelquie- Dragus, Ellen, and the army will be at the castle soon. The two parties meeting up is a very valid option if you want something to do. General Solvaya is still waiting on her orders.

That sounds like a good way to reintegrate Gelquie into the RP. ^^ She's really not doing much right now otherwise, other than reading and hiding. Also, I'll try to have a post from the King as soon as possible, since it's waiting on me. But not today or tomorrow; I'll be busy on those days.

I think you'll find, dear advisor, that the Princess is next in line for the throne and thus next in line for the chain of command. And she will not stand for any insubordination.

I may try to hunt through the pig stalls of Stinky-pile-o-poo with a bucket of water to see if I can extract someone, but my hopes ain't very high >> That said, you're free to start a fight with the pirate(s, tentatively) at any time if my permission has been holding you back xD It's not like I can do anything myself (why yes, I would like to poke a sword at a mage dragon and hope something good will come of it). (Although to be fair, if we were all a little less reasonable, the war might be more... uh, war. Wars are hard to reason.)

Oh dear child. *hugs* You have yet to finish your final test. So I will guide you into the fields to help complete this test! In no way will you die, then you can take over!

I think more active inter-guild combat would be good for this role-play. This war is getting to have as many sides as the obelisk war at this rate.

The Mafia RP is coming to a close soon, so activity over here should start picking up again soon I think.

Oh, okay. I really wish I didn't have so much going on during the most Mafia RP, but what I've read of it has been really cool.
