Hey guys, every time I think about my childhood's sweet memories cartoons are involved, they inspired me and I believe it increased my creativity... XD I was talking about how many good memories I have about those special characters with a friend, so I thought it would be something sweet for us to share here at the NTWF! My favorite cartoons were (and still are even though I don't watch as often as I used to) Spongebob Squarepants, Scooby-Doo, Sailor Moon, Powerpuff Girls (the original, the new anime version is just wrong ) and Camp Lazlo! Flapjack only showed up not very long ago, so it's not exactly in my beloved childhood memories, but I still love him so yeah, maybe on the future along with MLP Friendship is Magic. :3

When I was young, I used to love stuff like Tom and Jerry, Powerpuff Girls (the original, I agree with Dju's view on the anime), Spongebob... Camp Lazlo was also a good one.
I loved Avatar: TLA, if that can be considered a cartoon and from my childhood. XD

I only had two channels until I was about... twelve, so my cartoon selection was fairly limited. xD; I loved Inspector Gadget, though, and that more than any other show probably defined my childhood idea of fandom. And slightly later on, they started showing a Saturday morning Disney lineup of things like Recess and The Weekenders, which I also really liked. I... think there might have been others, but I can't remember. xD; I do remember really, really wanting to watch Care Bears and Sailor Moon like the rest of my friends, but in retrospect I think I'm kinda glad I didn't.
Edit: Forgot a few! Mighty Ducks and Gargoyles were some big ones. <3
Edit edit: Pepper Anne and Animaniacs. xD

Hmm.
As a kid, definitely Little Bear and Blues Clues. Also Aurthur and… the name of one show that I can't remember right now…. OH and Busy Town was my absolute favorite.
When I was older, I liked watching shows like Pokémon, Sailor Moon, and Card Captors, but I didn't get the opportunity to do that as often. I also liked Recess, KND, Teen Titans, and the Teenage X-Men.
Nowadays the only cartoon I watch is Phineas and Ferb. And it is awesome. *Saw the latest episode, can't wait for the next one*

Hm, let me think. The Fly: It's a really old cartoon from the Teletoon channel. None of the characters ever spoke: they just used gibberish. The main character was a fly who always had a cheesy grin on his face. He ate anything he found and that often led to trouble. Magic School Bus: I watched this show religiously when I was younger, an hour before I went to catch the school bus. The science concepts got me through elementary school and high school with flying colours. ^_^''' Seriously though, it's a brilliant show. Pingu: Gnuuuu GNUUUUU. >:0 Tom and Jerry: Has anyone ever seen that amazing Cat Concerto one? That is hands down one of the best cartoons ever produced. According to my parents I also had a thing for Barney and Little Bear. I still kind of have a thing for Little Bear.

I didn't really watch many cartoons... My mom had The Flinstones on at times, as well as Yogi Bear occasionally, so I watched those. About a week ago, though, I was home and bored, so I decided to see if anything was on. I saw Yogi Bear was on and decided to see if that was any good, because I didn't really remember it. It was good. But then, there was the introduction to another cartoon. Quick-Draw McGraw. An anthropomorphic horse with an alter ego that hit people on the heads with guitars yelling KABONG!? That was the best thing I ever saw.

Eee, I'm kind of feeling a bit old here, as most of my favorite childhood cartoons came from the early 90's.
Let's see, I loved the cartoons from the Disney Afternoon lineup (DuckTales, Chip 'n Dale's Rescue Rangers, Talespin), along with The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Garfield & Friends, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Tiny Toon Adventures.
I should also mention that I loved Pokemon during my teenage years in the late 90's and into the new millennium.

I loved Mighty Max and Pirates of Dark Water. I also liked Extreme Ghostbusters, though I'm probably alone in that. XD
Freakazoid, Earthworm Jim, Mummies Alive!, Animaniacs, Darkwing Duck, Talespin (pretty much the entire Disney Afternoon), Eek the Cat, I could go on. I'm sure I'm showing my age. :x
There were a LOT of good cartoons when I was growing up!
Edit: How could I forget The Tick! OMG, and Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego was the bomb. Sam and Max: Freelance Police! I'm going to be editing this all day!

I fear my childhood didn't have a lot of cartoons (go-go rural TV reception!) But I did like to watch Looney Tunes and when I was at my grandparents I'd try to catch DuckTales...

Courage the Cowardly Dog!
<3
That was so funny. xD I love the episode where Eustace became a dino-kangaroo and Courage had to become one too to save the day.
