I figured since all of those who enter the Storytelling Contest on Neo are all friends and like to chat amongst each other, that a club would be mighty appropriate. Here we can talk off-topic without having to clog up the CitC thread over in At Pens Point. I hope this is okay to make! If not, please tell me, or delete it or whatever. I won't mind, I just thought it was a neat idea

I'd get a job, but no one here speaks English, so they wouldn't hire me xD And besides, there's probably some sort of rule against hiring minors...

But I'll just think of coming home and playing on Neo and stuff Ick! I've never worked in customer service or anything like it, but doing that would just break my spirit and crush my soul. *hugs* Anyone who works with people is a hero in my eyes. xDDD; It's nearly bedtime for me, but I managed to prattle off an entry. =D Just waiting for my man to get home and writing up a proposal for a study I'm supposed to be conducting later in the year. Third year psychology is haaaard! D: I've never had to conduct a study on my own let alone justify it. ^^; What is everyone up to today? I find it odd that you live in a country where you don't speak the language well enough to get a job. ^^; Or am I assuming incorrectly? But no, as far as I'm aware, Japan has the same kind of employment laws as New Zealand. You can be employed full time at age 15, though they don't have to start paying you minimum wage until you're 18. xD Or at least that's what I thought. I'm probably wrong. ^^;

Those are some... interesting, I guess, employment laws. (My initial reaction was "What? Are they trying to cheat the 15~18 year olds out of their money? " XD) This doesn't apply to me yet, though--I don't turn fifteen for ten more months--and even if it did, I'd probably get fired by my boss for slacking off or something.

Well, Japanese is pretty easy to learn. :3 I took it in high school for a couple of years and earned myself a trip there for a two-week exchange. Of course, most of it is forgotten by now, but s'long as you don't have to deal with the super formal stuff it's not too tricky. ^_^ Ch'yeah, there are different laws for employment of minors. And there's a separate minimum wage for them, too. But in any case, I didn't get my first job until I was 15, and even then it was a paper route, so nothing terribly intensive. xD Just relax and be young while you can. =D Man, I'm only 20 and I feel so OLD! ;_; xDDD

I know I must sound like a broken record, but getting older has more responsibilities as well as perks. Yeah, you get to earn money, but you don't get to spend it on yourself. xD; I miss living at home. I love my parents very much, but I was very ready to leave home when I turned 18. Now I just want to go back and not have to worry about budgeting in case I don't have enough money for food or whatever. xDDDD That said, my mum paid for my grocery bill this week. <3 I luff her so much. =D Congrats Katie and Janice, lovely entries! Yes Sarn, I'm a mama =) The light of my life is named Lily Ann and she's 2 1/2 =) Whether I can write for a section depends wholly on her - she's in an independant phase right now where she wants to be near mama without playing with mama, so it's been pretty easy lately; I have my little slow as molasses laptop that I just set on my lap in the playroom as she plays. It's easy to shove it aside when she's ready for mama to look at whatever she's built or whenever she decides to allow mama the privilege of playing with her blocks too. *lol* D'awwwh! She sounds utterly adorable. @^@ There's a huge gap between me and my younger brother (10 years) so I know a small bit of what it's like. When my 'rents were busy I was the automatic babysitter and Jamie went through the same thing at one stage. =D He was so willful! Also, Lily and Ann are both beautiful names, and together they're utterly gorgeous. ^-^ I find I don't like very many girl's names, but Lily is one of my favorites. =3 *will let Scar name the baby if we have a girl* ... *is now squeeful because ...
