Thank you so much for the review! Yep, it's hand-made, then scanned, and painted digitally! Heh, this series is a bit mssy...but I promised to myself that'd never happen again! :3 Called it! Yeah, i'm thinking of doing the same with my future Nt comics, as my traditional work comes out a lot better than what I draw with a mouse on MS paint. And, a DA friend of mine showed me this program, and it allows me to do a lot more things, but most importantly color things I scan with ease (after they've been inked and scanned of course.) I'm thinking of going through and redrawing comics that I haven't submitted traditionally, then submit them in the newer, better looking style.

So much to review! I would get started but it's really late and I'd like to be heading to sleep now. Tomorrow, guys. I promise. =3 Erm...I hate to ask for reviews but since this is my first piece in years, I would like some. So, yeah. Would somebody please review ' More than Words in the Water'? It's not really that good but I would like some feedback. ^^;; EDIT: Also, reviewers, I've added a couple more items to the list, mainly in comics but also a few stories. Do take a whack at them as well as the reviews you have done before.

Thank you so much for the list, Celestial =D SHORT STORY REVIEWS PART 1 Wow. I'm not a huge Xandra fan (*raises shield*) but this was an incredible piece. You showed the transformation very well, and I loved the writing style.
I also liked your many hints of a detailed, intriguing history of the faeries; the dangerous objects and the mention of an abandoned colony were especially interesting.
I enjoyed as well the contrast between Xandra's interactions and her actual thoughts, though I'm not sure I liked the use of parenthesis. Quotes might have been better, but that's really more of a stylistic thing than any issue with the story itself.
Very clever work explaining Ciara's death. The scene itself was very well-written.
And lastly - you tied in the pie! XD That is awesome.
Haha, not what I was expecting to read! XD But wow - I'm not surprised this story is in the 500th issue!
Your description is beautiful. The transformation itself shifts wonderfully, and the whole thing is paced quite well.
Craig, I think I will always be in awe of how much emotion and story you can pack into such a short amount of space.
I loved your description and wordplay - I was particularly fond of "the sun had been pierced by a snowy incisor". The way you described things like the tightness of Beck's jaw and the way he tilts his head...so subtle, and yet, very telling.
My only criticism is that, when you explain what happened between Beck and Laurel, it's sometimes hard to tell what was said and done in the past, and what's being said and done now. Some of the dialogue doesn't seem to connect, but it's difficult to guess where it's supposed to go in the timeline.
Very interesting use of two timelines, and I very much liked it! The contrast of Aquialine flying from the wraith's and the small stories about the past kept both "plotlines" interesting, and I think it was an especially good choice for the quieter scenes where Aquia was remembering hearing stories from Hanoh.
A few of your sentences were actually fragments; "Gesticulate excitedly with forelimbs and glinting hooves", "Place a soft, periwinkle paw on Aquialine's muzzle". I'm guessing you were using them for stylistic purposes, but I found it a little jarring.
The ending...was very abrupt. It seems like perhaps Hanoh has lost the battle, but then, she and Aquialine are completely fine, and there's no mention of what exactly happened. Also, it sounds in the second-to-last section like the wraiths are being summoned right then, even though they theoretically should just have been destroyed.
I will be reviewing the rest of the NTWF short stories, I just need a break from sitting and typing =P Reviews for my short story "Dear Author" would be immensely appreciated. ^^

So I'm going away on vacation tomorrow so I will not be able to review until next week, but I promise I will review once I get back! In the meantime, I would really really appreciate a review of the Roomies Ruin. I know it's on it's last part this week (Part 7), but I haven't had any reviews in the past few weeks on it and I'd really appreciate some feedback. Like, really.
Congrats by the way on the Issue everyone!

Wow, I'm not anywhere near as much of a reviewing dynamo as some of you guys, but here's another:
More than Words in the Water This was both creepy and fascinating. I found the concept of the river a bit... odd, at first, but your prose was so good that you sold me on the idea pretty quickly. What happens to Neiza when she enters the water is awesomely vivid - especially since it seems like such a hard concept to articulate. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot.

@tiger (Citadellian Zombie Merc Tiger)
Thank you! One of my favorites parts of writing is the world-building behind the story, and it's nice to know that others enojy reading stuff like that as well.
As for the parenthesis, many of those things were explanations or comments, if I were writing an actual book, would have been footnotes (like the explanation on magic, for example) but as I worked on the story, it kind of evolved. xD
As for you story, Dear Author, I loved it. I especially liked how there was a story within a story and how easy it was to empathize with the person writing the letters. The way the letters were written, transitioning from shorter, kind of clueless eagerness ('When does the next part come out?' was a favorite) to longer, more personal reviews, was excellently done.
One line I didn't understand though was, "I thought Baron was kind of a weird name for him at first, but then you said Baron’s fur was darker than most shadow Eyries, and I could imagine it better. " What does the color of his fur have to do with the name? xD I thought a baron was similar to a lord.

IT'S ISSUE 500! CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE! *flails* I'm moving soon, and am currently in a packing frenzy, so my reviews are going to be very very late guys. So sorry! >_<
Thank you for the review Tiger! Your critique is very useful, I'll definitely take it to heart next time. As for the second-to-last part, I think I recall Fyora mentioning in the Faerie Ruins plot comic that it was their faerie magic that kept the shadows back in some obscure dimension. So they were destroyed and pushed back from Neopia, although I guess it really was quite ambiguous.
Dear Author by Tiger I love the concept of this piece! It's a story within a story, like one of those awesome Russian dolls. You've captured the excitement and enthusiasm of the reviewer well, and it really rings true for many readers in real life. Also, I appreciate the sheer amount of detail you put in for all the characters, and it sounds like such an intense story. The reviewer's neomails makes me wish I could read the story too. XD

Thank you very much for the reviews, Kate and ZiYu!
On Baron - I was trying to work his color and species in there somewhere right away. I guess when I think of barons, I think of them as being dressed very brightly, so I think that's that came from. Not my smoothest execution of the trick, that's for sure ;P

Thanks for the reviews, by the way. ^^ I've been stalking this comic since it premiered, and even the smallest bit of feedback buoys me up and keeps me from drowning in the sea of work and despair that has utterly swamped my life atm.
<3
I'll try and find some time for reviews. But thank you especially, Dju, for not neglecting me~ C:

Some Reviews (I'll get to more next week when I'm back from vacation)
All Just a Little Bit of History Repeating: Part Five by herdygerdy
Right off the back, I love how you use the phrase "...universe was quite allergic too." It makes me think of the whole world sneezing. Visiting the Thieves Guild was a nice read, especially Jennings side comments about the red Lupe. Also, Jennings' attempt to underhand the Galem in the future with the book was also nicely done. I like how Jennings is the one shaping history. Very nice part, good job!
Five Hundred Years by pandora
I really enjoy the way you write. It sounds so beautiful and it flows very nicely. I like your interpretation of faeries: for example, how they usually don't live past 100, and that faerie's tend to merge into their element when they "die". They're both interesting and different concepts. Her interaction with Fyora was startling--it makes the Queen seem more human as opposed to all-powerful which was nice. The ending was also beautiful, with her reacquiring hope. Very nice job!
The Amazing Dr. Wilbur and the Treasure of Five-hundred by shadyy15
Right off the bat, I love the title and the custom picture. It's just awesome. Dr. Wilbur is so playfully kooky... I love how he flails "like a true hero" when the petpets come for him. It was a nice bit of mental imagery. I like how everyone at the NT Headquarters is hyperventilating as well. You have a knack for slipping in some funny lines here and there, and I enjoy that. Some of the sentences are a little too convoluted at first read, but it doesn't deter me from reading. Naithea is a very interesting character as well, as were the pirates. The ending, with the picture frame, was hysterical. Good job!
*Any reviews for the Roomies Ruin, any at all, would still be greatly appreciated.
