Just got mine.
While I am happy to get this, I wasn't expecting the big 500th issue prize to be a mere background wearable. I do plan to keep it however, as a memento to this historic occasion.

As far as I can tell, it's an entirely new item! That means that there will only be as many in circulation as there are entries in the five hundredth issue... So, unless Droplet put in an INSANE amount of content, less than two hundred! Oh, hey, the news updated! |

We haven't kept track of exactly how many, but considering you guys have been sending in entries for the 500th issue since April, it's been A LOT.

Hypertext has a cameo in Talk About Random. And it's ADOOOOORAAAAAABLE Buizel draws those mitteny-squarish-hand-things better than I do.  Obviously the reason Hyper looks so happy to read TAR is because she's in it. :3 |

Still. Considering it was custom-made for just this issue, it's rather attractive, and I'm guessing it won't get released again? WIN.

By my count, one hundred and thirty submissions were published, so in theory that's how many of the background there should be. It may never be super-desirable, but it sure is rare.
