Congratulations to everyone who's gotten in!  This will be an awesome milestone issue. ... By the way, does anyone think there's any chance that if I wrote a short story, say, right now, there would be any likelihood of it getting in? I know it was possible in the past, but nowadays... Ergh. I had really planned to do something for this issue early--I started a series for it two months ago--but with school and final exams... *sigh* |

I wanted to finish the first Neopets story I ever started and try for this... but I haven't... and it's a series. *headdesk* I have no ideas for actual 500-related things, which rarely hold my interest anyway, and no active ideas for short stories.

I vaguely considered throwing something together for issue 500, but I never got around to it and never had any decent ideas anyway. XD; Regardless, I think it's safe to say I'm excited to read this issue. Congrats to all those who got in, and good luck to those still trying! |

I'm hoping she'll still add some entries today but I'm not seeing any accept/rejection letters go out so far today. I'm 90% sure I have no chance at getting in but I at least want confirmation because all this worrying is killing me.  The submissions must have been really, really backed up. |

I sent mine in last week Tuesday and got confirmation this week, so I'd say that is weird.
Were yours clearly labeled as being "issue 500"? They could have been missed if they weren't. Or perhaps you just were unlucky. Here's hoping for you!
