Cha~ Why didn't we have this club until now? Sign me up, please? I tend to have more favorite songs than favorite artists. Hoever, some of my favorites include Mumford & Sons, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Murray Gold, Jonathan Coulton, Jeremy Soule, Gotye, Avril Lavigne, and Paramore. I also have a bunch of Japanese songs, some Finnish and Swahili, and several songs from various video games. I recently discovered that I absolutely adore "Winter Winds" and I want to listen to more of their stuff but I never know where to start when I discover an artist for the first time, other than picking songs on Youtube at random. XP I've just gotten into them, too. And I have the exact same technique for finding new songs by various artists. XD Little Lion Man is my current favorite, I love the lyrics (you may want the clean version). I'm also a big fan of The Cave. Both are quite different from Winter Winds, however, so you might not like those as much. |

Ever have one of those moments where you go to a music store intending to only buy this one particular album, because really you need to stop spending all your money on music, only to find out it isn't in stock, and then walk out with five new CDs under your arm? It is a fantastic album. =D |

Finding people that listen to the bands you listen to is the greatest. <3 Oh yeah I should probably drop a list of my favorite bands, too. =D Ummm I like quite a bit of music (my friends tell me it is too much, but I feel like it is never enough) although The National, Sufjan Stevens, Stars, Death Cab For Cutie, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Broken Social Scene, The Avett Brothers, Bright Eyes, The Decemberists, The Mountain Goats, and more recently, The Antlers, Bon Iver and The Tallest Man On Earth, are the bands/people that make me dissolve into a gooey mess of HOW IS THIS SO AMAZINGLY AMAZING I LOVE THIS SONG EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFUL AND I AM JUST SO HAPPY TO BE ALIVE AND BREATHING RIGHT NOW. |

It makes me sad particularly because I've never actually visited a good CD store. xD |
