Tunnels! Tunnels! Tiger and I want to take an etching of the map so we don't get lost and explore all of the tunnels and chests. ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Hmm. I will move the four squares to B2, then take the portal to the mini island Goosh just found.
I wanna have a private island like all the cool kids! D:

Sorry, I've been a bit inconsistent with the times that the rounds end. I try to do it around midnight my time, but I was actually about 4 hours late this round. I'll still try to keep it at midnight-ish my time (whatever that may be for you), so I hope you can use that as a reference.

Despite the glorious defeat of the Rodents of Indeterminate Species at the hands of Celestial and GLQ yesterday, it appears that your shinies may not be entirely safe. Settling down for the night, you sense something slightly...odd... You wake up the next morning and take stock of your treasure, only to realize-- Sarn, Tiger: You lost 110 shinies. That's gotta hurt. GLQ, Celestial: You lost 306 shinies. Yeow! Draco: You lose 102 shinies. Poor guy. Extreme Fishery: You lose 372 shinies. Pheeew! Goosh: You lose 118 shinies. Quite unpleasant. Zylaa: You are awakened by the other teams' panicked exclamations about stolen shinies. Worrying about your own stock, you count them--only to discover that you have 1008 more shinies than you did last night! I wonder where those got there. Well, no use crying over lost shinies. You set out today in search of more! Sarn, Tiger: You continue and complete your tunnel excavation today. There were four more exits in addition to the very first one you found, and from those four exits you found a total of 1839 shinies! Notes on the tunnels are included at the end of this post. Zylaa: Your unexpected windfall was nice, but this is no time to rest on ill-gotten laurels. You make your way to B2 and take the portal to reunite with your beloved Gooshykins. Will the two of you team up to take the game by storm in an epic tale of sparkly romance and piratical buttkickery? Only time will tell. Or, y'know, the your next post. GLQ, Celestial: You wake up bright and early and a bit miffed, and begin your scouring of I6, finding an impressive 571 shinies. You then continue on to I5, somewhat cheered up, and pull out a further 329 shinies. Toward the end of your search, you encounter a now-familiar stone disk bearing an explanatory sign and a large letter B. You eagerly step onto it, and find yourselves transported to a new island. A quick visual survey shows its layout to be something like: | A | B | 4 | Square | Square | 3 | (Portal) | Square | 2 | Square | Square | 1 | Square | Square |
You settle down for the night, eager to begin your pillaging of yet another tiny unexplored island. Draco: You push on boldly to I2. Extreme Fishery: You come to A2 of your small island, and gather 290 shinies. Slightly disappointed that this hasn't made up for your loss earlier in the day, you continue on to A3. Your spirits are raised when you uncover a fortunate 552 shinies. Overall, not too bad. Goosh: You venture off into the wilds of your own private island. Digging at A3, you find 344 shinies. Just as you're thinking about setting up camp, you hear a distant noise that sounds distinctly like a sound effect. Finding a high spot, you see the distant form of a weasel girl. Shiny counts: Sarn-Tiger: 2826 shinies Zylaa: 2371 shinies GLQ-Celestial: 3655 shinies Draco: 918 shinies Extreme Fishery: 4186 shinies Goosh: 1401 shinies NOTE ON TUNNELS: The five exits are at F8, C7, H5, D3, and F1. *Huntybadgerpoke* Map update? Passing through the tunnels between any two exits counts as one move (as opposed to using a portal, which is instantaneous and does not count as a move at all). For instance, if you start at F1, then move through the tunnels and exit at D3, but then do not move away from D3, that counts as one move. Anyone may now use the tunnels to move around the island, but all the tunnel squares now count as "dug."

Okay, so Sarn and I are at one of the tunnel exits now? Is there one in particular, or can I arbitrarily pick H5, and say we dig at G5 and G4?

*sidles in*
*drops a handful of maps in everyone's lap*
There, fresh from Tabloid Town, don't ask me what I had to do with Zagora to get access to these, I don't want to talk about it. There's more to come later on, once I acquire two hundred shinies and a pineapple from somewhere.
Also, the islands now have names, the archipelago itself doesn't yet but rest assured, something will be slapped onto it soon. Go brush up on your Greek alphabet, you'll need it. And everyone who's in it and in my crew, I'm very proud of you, the ship will be taking a cut of your shinies for housekeeping purposes, keep up the good work, if anyone needs me, I'll be off by the daiquiri spring further down the coast =D
(In the first post of the thread, folks, yep.)
