For a second I was thinking "it was all a dream!", but no, they actually did it for realz. *shrug*
I'm not so sure I like Twilight becoming a Princess. I guess I'll have to withhold judgment until I see where Season 4 takes this.
Also, I'm kind of curious what Friendship is Witchcraft will do with this development, considering that version of Twilight has been actively trying to become a princess. |

I think this was all great! But really, don't you guys think it was just too much information for only one episode? It felt as if things were a bit rushed to me. XD
Oh oh oh, and is Twilight now immortal? because if she is, that might be troublesome. :I I mean, her friends aren't. Not even Spike is (or is he?).

Who said anyone was immortal? Nobody's died in this series, so I think it's safe to assume everyone is immortal because they're not going to have ponies die in a cartoon aimed at little kids. XDD

Well so far, we know Alicorns live for thousands of years. And they look pretty darn healthy.
Then you have ponies who grow old and well, look like they're going to kick the bucket.
So I'm pretty sure ponies do die. They're just not going to show it. Just like most people still believe that Applejack's parents are dead. The family reunion episode even shows 2 stars AJ looks to when talking about family. The writers even said it was a nod to her parents, but they can't confirm death since that can change any time.
So ponies may be able to live a few hundred years, maybe... But thousands seem to only be for Alicorns.
And that was my say on lifespans in Equestria.
And I didn't put it in spoilers, because it's not really spoiling anything.
*also finds it creepy to see whole pages of spoilers on some threads, even if it is spoilers involved*

Apparently she has 6 sightings in the episode?    You can't keep Derpy away no matter how hard you cry and whine about it. She might never have a speaking role or be named again... But she's here to stay. She appears in a number of things outside the show, including toys, eyes and all. |

I had to suppress a snort-giggle when Celestia and Twilight went into that weird TV-screen montage. XD Like, not bubbles or swirly clouds of memories, but just plain TV-screens? Like, don't they know there aren't any TVs in Equestria?
