It's funny; I always know there's a new MLP episode out when dA's front page features a particular pony/character more heavily than usual. XD
That said, I'm just not that into Discord. He's like the most annoying mix of Genie (from the sequels) and the Cheshire Cat, voiced in a constant sarcastic John Waters impersonation, and looking like the characters I used to make up in first grade. XD Does not like.

Honestly, I'd be more interested if they had fleshed out Sombra. At least Sombra looks cool. X3

Discord is just awesome to me XD So yeah.
But I agree about Sombra. He needs more screen time and stuff... And from reading about the last couple episodes of the season, he's nowhere in sight (as well as no more villains).
So maybe next season there will be some Sombra action.

I've read about this series and stuff, and I really wish I could buy it for my sister. But I don't think they sell it on DVD here...

I just heard Fighting is Magic got a cease & desist.  I don't play fighting games so it's pretty unlikely I'd have played it if it was finished, but I'm still sorry to see that much time and effort go down the drain. |

Yeah... However, Lauren Faust went and asked if they would like some OCs from her for a new game. It's a pain to have to redo a bunch of stuff, but they do have the coding and stuff there still. Some OCs from Lauren Faust would be pretty cool.

That stinks that they got a C&D letter. I mean, the game was supposed to be released as freeware. Heck, Hasbro could've used it as free advertisement. I guess OCs from Lauren Faust could be used as a backup. That'd be pretty cool and it'd save some of the work. Still, it makes me sad. Whether one's into MLP or not, that's two years worth of effort that went into this project gone down the drain. |

That's life, when you make a fan-game, you either get lucky and have the company back you up (ie. Street Fighter X Mega Man) or get totally screwed over by a cease and desist.

Heck, Hasbro could've used it as free advertisement. They probably thought it was running counter to their property's main intent: teaching little children about friendship. A game where Twilight could beat up Pinkie Pie probably wasn't ideal. |

The new episode. THE NEW EPISODE.
Man, talk about a wham episode.
I thought it was just going to be some cutie mark fun at first, but that only ended up taking half the episode. The rest of the half I was too busy staring at with my mouth open.
I wonder how this will play in future episodes. What are Twilight's royal duties? How will this affect her friends and Ponyville? Is Twilight gonna mess stuff up horribly at one point? What are future episodes going to look like?
Also, this is the most musical episode ever. Tara Strong sure sung a lot.
And is it just me, or is the declaration of "Everything is fine!" at the end... tempting fate so much? |
