MLP merch is pretty hard to find here. I mean, you can get the pony toys, but they look nothing like the characters and don't impress me.
I'd really like plushies. Ever see some of those fanmade ones? Some of those are really niiiice. Of course, Hasbro would never give us merch that nice. XD

Yeah, the fan plushies are so on-model it's crazy. Of course, they're also pretty crazy-pricey, because every brony wants one (someone sold some nice ones at FWA for $200 apiece and they were sold out in an hour). And I don't think Hasbro could make uglier pony plushies if they TRIED. I CANNOT understand why they'd use fun-fur for their manes instead of just sewing the fabric in the shape of the hair.
Also this is epic . I wish I could make something that cool. *_*

and yeah, the amazing ones cost lots of dollars. XD If I had money, and if my sewing skills weren't so rusty, I'd totally make my own.
I'd really like a plushie of my own pony, as well as pretty much the entire main cast of FiM. XD

I liked the previous two episodes a lot. And I like some of the continuity that's been going on. There's one question that's been kind of bothering me, and this episode makes me REALLY wonder... Where are Applejack's parents?
Applejack is clearly very involved with her family, but we only see Granny Smith and the older siblings really acting as Applebloom's guardians. And AJ's parents certainly didn't seem to show up at the reunion, so we're left with no explanation for her parents.
I have a feeling that the question is never going to be officially answered. The only thing I can come up with is that they're dead. Also... I keep misinterpreting "Raise this Barn" as "Raze this Barn".
I'm not sorry for my misinterpretation. |

I'm not sorry for my misinterpretation. I think it was Sibsy (storyboard writer) who said on twitter, that her parents are possibly dead. It's not fact, but if you pay attention to the episode, the stars. When Granny is talking about the WHOLE family being there, AJ looks out and sees two shooting stars. Again at the end of the episode, you see two stars shoot by again. They were placed as a nod to her parents.
Now, like I said, it's not official that they're dead. Even if they are, if it's not stated in the show at one point and made canon, someone can always say they're on a trip or something instead.... I finally got a Princess Luna!!! <3 She also came with a Rarity, which is kind of annoying since I already have all of the Mane Six... BUT LUNA!!!! There was also a lovely, properly-colored Celestia of the same size (packaged with a Pinkie Pie who I ALSO already have, grrr) and I will probably return to Target to pick her up later after my next paycheck. Assuming there's any of her left.  ; |
