As the creator of the alternate games, I might have to talk to you about them considering gameplay. Last time, we never really took off on them, and hence they're still subjected to flaws and such. Still, if you want to completely take over for me, that's fine.
Also, do interested players (old and new) have to start their decks from scratch? Considering the need to "re-enlist" the cards, some old decks might have now-illegal cards by then.

I'd love to talk to you about the alternate games. My MSN is in my profile and you can almost always catch me online. Yes, players will need to create their decks again since the whole card list is being re-done. However, you can keep your current Shinies and everyone will get the normal 30 free common cards. Think of it as a new edition.

Reserved for stuff. Are we supposed to create our own deck? Yep, go right ahead. Sorry for posting this here, but to reply in the accounts thread would interrupt the flow of things. =D

Question:
I originally designed Griffpun's ability Roost (Special Ability: Roost - Heal 2 HP when Griffpun is moved to the bench) to heal when moved to the bench from being active... but I see its ability has been worded in a way that suggests that it only heals when being -retreated-
In a duel right now, I just Ninja Teleported Griffpun to the bench... so I need to know if Roost comes into effect or not.

I'd say that's a yes, but it is really up to you. I'll also take a look at the card's wording to see if I can clarify it for others. ^^

Topic for discussion ... Normally when a fighter is KO'd, energy and all other cards attached to the follow them to the discard pile, but since everyone agrees energy is precious, I would like to get some opinion of whether or not we should change it so that energy cards attached to a KO'd fighter get shuffled back into the deck.
The only downside I can see is that it requires every duelist to keep a track of which energy goes where so that they don't get them all mixed up.
So, opinions?

I'm still trying to understand the rules, but i can see how not having any Energy Cards would really stink >.> Especially if you don't have them because they are all in the discard pile XD

Just a quick question.
If your active gets knocked out, are you supposed to use a fighter that's already on your bench to replace it. Or can you activate a fighter from your hand or just drew?

You can play a fighter straight to active from your hand if, and only if you are in danger of the NMF victory condition ... that is, you don't actually have any more fighters in play. Otherwise, you've gotta play 'em to your bench first.

On the subject of Energies: While discarding energies is quite an expensive thing to do, having them returned to your deck would, eventually, leave you soaked in energies without a Fighter. So I think that's fine the way it is now.
On the other hand, a number of cards (including my upgrade, actually) use 2 points to force the discarding of an energy, and that might end up being a problem, because your opponent will eventually run out of either energies or luck. I think 2 points to have energies returned to the hand might be better. It means adjusting a bunch of cards, but since this may eventually wind up as a gamebreaker, it's probably a good idea. Oh, and did we ever decide what happens to energies when you retreat? xD

What about a compromise. Half the KO'd fighter's energy goes to the grave, the other half gets reshuffled into the deck. The player whose fighter has been KO'd can pick and choose which energy goes where. In the case of odd numbers, the extra one goes into the discard pile.
Yesh? No?

That works. Seems a little complicated, but it works. xD
