Breakingchains hhhh those suckers taste GREAT. I don't know why I haven't used them in egg before! Silly question of the day *raises hoof* o /) Is there ANY NewNintendo 3DS that is NOT xl? I like my gaming platforms travel sized for my convenience ="D My current one kinda stops whenever I pass a certain area in Austin and it might be time to turn it in for another. There are some out there in North America, as far I as know, but they're not as common as the XL version. The thing is, the smaller ones come with interchangeable cover plates ( Bulbapedia has a few examples of what they look like). As for where you can find them (as I know you're going to ask), EB Games, er, Gamestop may have some, as does Wal-mart and Best Buy (seeing as those three have a presence in Canada). Of course, if you were back in New York, the Nintendo shop probably had some, but that I'm not sure about. In addition to the physical stores, the retailers that I mentioned may have them online as well, as does Amazon. I wish you luck in finding one. EDIT: I forgot a couple of other stores: Target and Toy-R-Us, for both physical stores and online

I actually would not look to Walmart for an old smol 3DS. They are sold out of most Nintendo products worldwide, with the Nintendo website no longer even listing them as a carrier for the 3DS or 3DS XL. There are listings for them on the Walmart website, buuuut they are being sold not by Walmart but by third party retailers and are stupidly overpriced.

Thanks guys ^^ I looked online and didn't find any in stock in stores near me. I'm content with waiting. If I'm getting a game system then by God I am getting one that does NOT click every time it opens and shuts.

Does a web hosting service offering a certain price "per month" literally mean that you'll be charged only once every month? I'm looking into getting a domain using Bluehost (I'm actually already managing a website on there under a certain domain, but with my father paying for it), but I became a little wary when I noticed that it showed " $142.20 ($3.95 for 36 months)" under "Hosting Price". I then thought, "Well, that's just the sum of all the separate times you'll be billed if you had the website for three years," but a subsequent result from a Google search (dated from more than seven years ago) revealed a disgruntled customer who was charged three years worth of the price upfront. Having that much billed at a time on my card scares me, nevermind the fact that my parents still watch my transactions from time to time, so I wanted to clarify things here.

Having that much billed at a time on my card scares me, nevermind the fact that my parents still watch my transactions from time to time, so I wanted to clarify things here. It depends on the webhost, I think, so unfortunately you'll probably have to do some digging (or maybe fire an email to customer service, or use the Chat thing they have on their site?) I think a lot of webhosts do charge all at once, and the price breakdown by month is just to sort of show you "here's what you're basically paying for" - but the webhost my work uses definitely charges us monthly (seeing as there was a billing error last month). So, like most things on the internet, I have to say "it depends" 8'D (Doing some quick look at the site itself, I'm inclined to say yes, they charge all at once - their cancellation policy mentions taking $15.99 from the total refund, and it specifies end-of- year change rather than end of month: - my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/price

So I'm kinda new at deviantart. Do people regularly use it for fanfic, or is that something I'm going to want to put elsewhere?

So I'm kinda new at deviantart. Do people regularly use it for fanfic, or is that something I'm going to want to put elsewhere? Short answer: Yes. Long answer: I'm not really the best person to ask, I don't really read or write much fanfiction besides Neopets stuff, and that's focused on the Times. So I don't really know if dA is well known for fanfics, or a good place to post them. Hopefully someone else can come over and clarify. But I do know that people post their Times stuff on there all the time. And there's also lots of other fanfics out there. In fact, I think there's entire accounts that do nothing but fanfics. dA has its own culture that I still don't really understand, it's just mostly an easy way for me to post art to share with the few people who follow me. It's designed for art, but I think there might be a prose underculture hidden in there if you know where to look. And probably join relevant groups, if you can figure out how to find good ones among the thousands that exist; I never could. There's is one group I definitely recommend, though. NTWF has a group here: ntwf.deviantart.com/

It's there, to be sure, but there isn't much of an audience for it and it's unlikely to get much attention. In my experience the audience on dA has a super short attention span and tends to be largely the sort of people who won't read a book because it's "too much work" and will prefer to wait for the movie version, lol. I posted written stuff to dA all the time, and it only ever got read by people who already watched me on dA anyway. You can post fanfic prose, by all means, it just isn't liable to get noticed.

Hey, so, you know how when you link to an specific post in the forum, the page will scroll down to where it is? Mine doesn't do that anymore, and I don't know why D: It loads the page, but it puts me at the top instead of scrolling, so I have to find posts manually and it's a bit of a pain. ;-;
I'm using Chrome on a Mac, and it actually hasn't worked at all since I got a new computer, but I never had this problem on my old one. Could it be I installed a newer version of Chrome that doesn't support this or something? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there anything I can try to fix it?
I tested it on Safari (the only other browser I have on this computer at the moment) and links work fine there, they scroll to wherever they were supposed to. Should I just switch browsers for an easy fix? XD;
Any advice would be appreciated!

However a quick test of Edge (basically internet explorer for Windows 10) shows it is working on that browser. Not sure why?

Hey Spanish speakers! Lend me your aid, for I am continuing to learn.
So I've had this question since high school. I remember it very clearly. It was right after we'd learned reflexive verbs.
We took turns reading a story aloud and this one was about a man carrying his weakened son on a journey at night.
He'd asked his son, "Can you see anything?"
And the child replied, "No se ve nada."
Um...what? This was different from literally everything else we'd learned and the funny thing was nobody else was tripped up by this.
So who was the child talking about?...

This kinda belongs in Writer's Workshop, but definitely doesn't deserve its own thread. This was the best I could think of for a mini-questions equivalent thread.
But anyway, my question pertains to this sentence:
Does it need an Oxford comma? In front of the 'while'? Or do I need to replace the 'while' with an 'and' to make it flow better?? Or should it be 'whilst'??
Definitely questions I feel silly asking so I guess that's confirmation that it qualifies for this thread XD

Grammar isn't my strongest thing, so this is just from initial impressions, but I think maybe changing "while" to "and" would work best. It'd make it flow better, and it might also better make sense of the pronouns. I'm assuming each of the named characters' actions are directed towards the officer, but with the "while" it kinda sounds like Shy is giving a defiant look Jax's way. Changing to "and" might better direct it towards the officer.
