Sie erbrachten eine ehrliche Dienstleistung und erwarteten im Gegenzug von ihren Kunden, den gleichen Respekt und die gleiche Höflichkeit wie man sie einem beliebigen Geschäftspartner entgegen brachte.
(Translation: They rendered an honest service and in return expected their customers to treat them with the same respekt and the same politeness any other business partner would be treated with.)

I see her eyes travel up and down my frame, and I can’t help but think that she’s counting every piece of sleet that’s still clinging to me, adding them up like more points on her side of the scoreboard.
Another great breaking point. I love this story so much! I can't believe how well this is turning out. ^_^ I hope I can keep this up.

Perhaps in those minutes, often accumulating to ten, twenty, thirty and more, she could have taken the time to furiously thrust her chair under the table, stomp upstairs and, following the slam of a door, comfort the Wocky she'd been so avid about defending.
Not NaNoWriMo, but these boards are fun for any form of writing. xP

How long would she have to wait to see the beauty in life, to experience all of those things fairy tales had always told her had existed?

“Oh, bloody od’s fish,” she mumbled to herself, loosening her stance. She had expected an overly lonely pirate to be sidling up behind her; a killer horse she could handle.
I <3 pirate oaths.

Not content with the explanations of adults, Rill turned to Lara, who had some decided opinions of her own on Zatergest—the sort of ideas that had to be said far from any authorities.
Look! A plot! Maybe? Or a clunky and abrupt transition to plot.
