Your Latest Sentence

We had one of these last year, and it was a lot of fun. Basically, just post the sentence you've just finished writing! (Then continue writing of course, this is NaNo after all.)

Speaking of, here's the sentence I just wrote:

“Basically, the Fourth Wall exploded and now it’s like our worlds had some kind of twisted love-child.”

This marks the end of my random detour into how Sonia and the speaker/thinker met, which was entirely irrelevant to the story.

And actual last sentence:
