Yet another guest post thanks to my computer. I actually did start over, and I'm back up to 2,000 words (again). A half-hour 'til midnight...But if I get 1,000 words every ten minutes, I'll hit my quota! (Wishful thinking never hurts)

Yay. Caught up. But can't post up word count because my computer is lagging like fail on the NaNoWriMo site.

I'm about 500 words behind, but I also types however many words just today, so I can catch up tomorrow; dishing out words actually isn't too hard for me. Now I've made such a big habit of hitting "CTRL-S" every so often that I'm doing it here too, thus prompting the internet to ask me how I want to bookmark it. I just hope that my document holding the thing doesn't get all laggy on me as I get closer to the 50K word goal. I remember Word getting laggy on me when I end up having a huge word count. Has this happened to anyone?

Word lagging is all too well known to me. Which is why I save large files as txt-files. You can open them with Word for spell check or word count, but since the file itself is way smaller, Word is able to handle it better.

I hit Ctrl-S while I'm typing posts on the internet, too. XD I always have to remind myself that the way to give some security to an unfinished post is to use Ctrl-C. I've been obsessive compulsive about saving for as long as I can remember; it started with backing up my progress in video games. I tend to get nervous when I play games that don't let me save approximately every thirty seconds. >>
I'm behind. *stabs school parent's night that swallowed up the entirety of last evening* I don't know how I'm going to build up a buffer at this rate.

Also behind.. but not too badly, I guess. I've been consistently around 400-600 words short at the end of each day for my total word count, but daily I'm keeping up fairly well (I got off to a bad start the first day.) The only problem is that my writing time will be very limited until Sunday. I may have to relent and start doing some writing by hand, since a notebook is more portable. Plus the fact that my laptop charger is dying and the amount of battery power I'm able to get at any given time is questionable.

I'm around 3000 or so words behind too. It's not the most interesting part of the story, that's for sure. My characters seem to have noticed this as well, since one has resorted to counting pebbles to deal with her boredom. XD

I'm behind too. I was crazy busy yesterday, but still managed to squeeze in about 30 minutes of writing time for about 650 words.
Time to write! =D

I'm still above my quota, but I have at least a thousand words to go before I hit my buffer goal -- I don't know if I'll have the energy to write after my lab tomorrow evening.
And yes, I just tried to save this webpage again. *headdesk*
