Gah, slowly out of ideas. Plus I hate the annoying habit that my NaNo has of repeating things over and over and over and over again. Tell us something new about the character please Celestial! >O ...Wait, what do you mean your characters are as bland as the colour grey?

Still lagging behind. Nothing new there. What's new however was that today my muse for the first time showed a reluctance to even try and catch up. It's not as if she didn't know what the next scene would be about or what she would want for first sentence of the scene. It's just that she didn't feel like writing. She kept telling me: So what if we don't write that much today? You said from the beginning that our story might not even be worth 50k, so why hurry. Guess it's one of those blue days. (And looking at all the quitting-consideration going on here, it seems like this is a world-wide feeling.) Good thing for me: I have yet my pep-talk mails to read. I saved them for exactly a day like this. Something to cheer me up and keep me writing. So to all who consider giving up: Don't. Just write a bit every day and just be proud of keeping on writing, no matter how many words you write. Writing every day for 30 days is something not many people can boast of.

Muse, where are you going. 3: I need you for NaNo.
...yeah, basically, I need to kick myself out of all these other cool writings I keep coming up with and back over to that broken Fourth Wall. XD;
You only have to do this for like 19 more days, PFA! You can do it! >O

People who are thinking about quitting- the idea isn't to hit 50,000 words. Not really. The point is to get something down, something you wouldn't have written without the pressure of the 50,000 word mark. Every word you're writing now is one you might not have written otherwise- so even if you don't reach the 50K mark, even if you don't get anywhere near 50K- you've won the challange, because you've gotten something down that you might not have before =)
So don't quit, people! And we believe in you!
I'm...currently procrastinating on my NaNo XD Getting back to it, getting back to it...I'm just barely keeping up everday, though. Looks like I'll have two days to work on stuff here, though, so I can spread things out between Friday and Saturday. Here's hoping I can get a little ahead then.
...But gosh darn it, D, you're difficult to write!! Wish I was working with K again, he's fun...

Spent two hours on a bus today, and I was planning to get some serious writing done. Had a seat to myself, my notebook and pen, and my headphones drowning out all the useless chatter. And yet, I spent most of the trip staring out the window. I did get a few hundred words written, so it wasn't a total waste, and I did spend most of that window time thinking about my story. I would like to make it up to the daily goal once though. Last night was the closest I've ever gotten (only a couple hundred words off), and so now I've got to catch back up.

Woohoo! I hit the halfway point tonight. It's somewhat ironic, because Wednesdays are so busy for me, and yet I've written 4230 words tonight. It is, however, rather irritating that in size 7 Verdana, my characters have spent SIXTEEN PAGES (~12k words) in a pitch-black tunnel and have yet to actually make it to their real mission.

I wrote most of yesterday's quota at 4 o'clock this morning, which is probably why my narrative voice decided to start complaining about just how badly I was deconstructing the atmosphere halfway through.

Made it up over 17k before midnight, so at least my day's total won't look so pathetic...lol

Argh, only at a little over 15K...and I still have characters to introduce. >.< I need to get them all in by 20K. Today. Yeah...maybe I should stop watching anime while writing. XD (Or go do my homework, that might be a good idea...)

I hate writing those 'insightful' scenes, where the main characters do nothing but think and try to sort out their feelings!

Oh man, I just took a look at all the assignments I have that are either due really soon or even late. Boy do I have some catching up to do. Darn you NaNo! I've assigned a word count value to each, so however much I get done of it all is how much I want to get written before sleep. If I get it all done, I'd be responsible for over 4000 words tonight, which is more than I've ever written in one shot. Hmm, almost like a deterrent to completing my work rather than the reward it's supposed to be...lol Though there's honestly so much of it that it would be impossible for me to do it all today anyways.

...Why is it that everytime I nip onto the Internet to double-check the meaning of an unfamiliar expression, I invariably end up spending thirty minutes on a website that produces witty T-shirts? Today I decided to squander half a minute of writing time on looking for the ideal colour for this name I was looking for. Ended up spending quarter an hour reading through all of the interesting-sounding ones. =D My favourite is 'heliotrope', though 'alizarin' is a close second. My story is turning out different than I thought it would. The pacing is bizarre, and it's actually serious here and there, not something I expected. Also my characters are weird. ... And I should hurry up and do today's writing so I can actually do some English revision today. *winces* Ah, exams, I neglect you so.

Half-way Meeting yesterday was really great and productive. I have now ideas for the next few scenes (which knowing my muse will double in number when actually writing them down), so I should have not troubles for the next few days.

*cracks knuckles* A little tea shop, hot chocolate, other NaNoers, an essay I'm completely neglecting -- time to get back to writing! =D

Look what I found! Went looking for a random word generator to help spark the name of a device and found this site. It's got random words, phrases, sentences, and even paragraphs. Might be just the thing to spark some ideas.
