Fantasy RP

Heh, this is my first RP ever, so sue me if I'm awful. It's gonna be Fantasy, and I need votes for setting. Middle-Earth, or somewhere else (Besides Middle-Earth, I don't want to do any premade locations)?

Here's my character:

Name: Voronwe

Race: Elf

Age: In his early thousands

Gender: Male

Appearance: Voronwe has dark brown hair that extends well beneath his shoulders. He has abnormally bright green eyes. He is a tad shorter than the average elf, but taller than most men. While in his homeland, he wears elven warrior's clothing, however, while travelling, he has been known to disguise as a mortal. When abroad, he always wears a hood over his ears, and conceals his elven bow and short knives in his clothes. He carries a Fourth Age Gondorian Skirmish Sword as his primary travelling weapon.

Bio: Although Voronwe is part of the Lothlorien army, his exceptional skills as a spy usually have him elsewhere. He has strong ties with a few rangers from his travels. Although Voronwe has perfected the art of concealment, he generally prefers to negotiate or fight, if he can. He can be rather rash sometimes. He generally treats strangers coldly, and potential allies with caution. Even his closest friends don't know very much about him, mainly because of his constant fear of back-stabbing.

Weapons/Special Items: While in Lothlorien, he carries his Longbow and short sword. When he is travelling, he uses a short bow, knives, and a Gondorian Sword. He also carries various tokens so his allies can recognize him. He can usually be found with some money in different currencies, and a few bribes.

Powers/Skills/Abilities:
Although skilled as a warrior, his lighter weapons do not usually put him in the front lines. Probably the best spy in all of Middle-Earth.
Voronwe has the typical elven enhanced senses.
He is decently smart, and is good at coming up with a plan in a pinch.

Also, Voronwe's not the leader type, so we'll need someone to step up, if we decide to play company-style.

...But fine. And, Middle Earth sounds fine to me. *shrug* I might not be so great at it though, since my knowledge of the Lord of the Rings is definitely lacking.

Name: Elodie

Race: Elf

Age: Unknown, but pretty young. (For an elf anyway.)

Gender: Female

Appearance: Elodie has brown, slightly curly hair that reaches the middle of her back and bright blue eyes. She is short; just about 5'4". Her outfit consists of a black knee-length dress, with a silver design running through it, and black pants underneath. She wears a dark blue cloak over it all, covering most of her figure, although she usually leaves the hood down. All clothes are made from elven cloth.

Bio: Elodie speaks rarely and is found to be very mysterious. She has been wandering through various forests and villages for a long time. She was born and raised in Rivendell, though she doesn't speak of her life there. She has a calm and peaceful outlook on everything, and takes life day by day. She possesses a mysterious power which causes her to have constant migraines and blanks out her memory.

Weapons/Special Items: Elodie is an archer, using a specially crafted bow made in Rivendell. She also carries a sword incase she cannot avoid short distance battles. Its hilt is pure silver with a design of flowers and leaves. The last connection to her life in Rivendell is a silver star necklace which she always wears.

Powers/Skills/Abilities: Elodie can heal most wounds and injuries with her elven power and has enhanced elven senses as well. She is rumored to never miss a target with her arrows. She is also very intelligent, as she is often seen reading various books and novels. As for magic, she usually uses water-type spells, although sometimes she uses ice.

Ok, here's my character number two. I tried my hardest to create a totally new, unprecedented character:

Name: Koren

Race: Human

Age: Unknown

Gender: Male

Appearance: Koren has medium-length black hair, and is average height and build. He always carries a broadsword with him, although no one has ever seen him use it. It is of Dwarven make, and is tipped with mithril. His onyx-black cloak looks like it was made for royalty. His face is rather sad and at the same time cold. Koren's eyes are deep blue.

Bio: Little is known of Koren's past. Rumor has it that it concerned betrayal and deaths of those close to him. He commands an aura of power, and those around him tend to want to obey him. It is suspected that he bought the spell from a corrupt wizard. He is very intelligent, but he generally keeps his thoughts to himself. Although many rumors hsve spread of his rather dubious deeds, many a ranger can attest to his will to save lives. Perhaps his own tragedies made him more sensitive to those of others?

Weapons/Items:
The only visible thing he carries is his Dwarven sword; no one knows what else he carries.

Powers/Skills/Abilities:
Koren carries a sword, but nobody knows if he can at all use it.

Aura of command - he is automatically persuasive, even if what he says is rediculous. Think along the lines of when Gandalf & co. confronted Saruman, just less powerful.

Although he is brilliant, he generally only uses his intelligence to steal things.

Name: Gloria Ann Gaypip (mwahaha... full name!)

Race: Just regular human

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance: Fairly tall woman. Long, light-brown hair pulled into a ponytail. Green eyes. Hair is pulled back with a yellow ribbon. She wears a yellow dress and a brown vest thing on top. (I should probably put up a picture, somewhere...)

Bio: Gloria is usually serious, and she usually travels with her friends. She's also kind of mysterious and secretive... like she's hiding something. She's usually a pretty strong, brave person, but has a weakness for protecting her friends... no matter what.

Weapons/Special Items: A staff weapon (and she's good with it, too ;D).

Powers/Skills/Abilities: Can do a wide variety of magical things - you know... fire, ice, lightning... the basics. She also has the ability to call on a breeze that heals and refreshes you... when she has enough energy.

Race: Also just human

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: A bright, cheerful blonde. Slightly tan. Hair is pulled into a high ponytail with a pink scrunchie. ^_^ Green eyes. Wears a pink tank-top and a lighter pink semi-short skirt (slightly above the knee).

Bio: Sammi is a bright, happy young woman who is a great friend. But although she appears to just be a simple, bubbly teenager... she can get pretty mean when she needs to. >:-) She also happens to hate it when it gets even slightly chilly.

Weapons/Special Items: Nothing, really. When she fights, she'll usually just kick you. ;D

Powers/Skills/Abilities: Has the ability to send heat at her opponents (not fire, heat).

Race: Once again, just human.

Age: 19

Gender: Male (that's right... a GUY! ^_^ I needed one)

Appearance: Fairly normal man. Somewhat pale. Curly black hair (cuurlyy ). Blue sports shirt (erm... whatever it's called ). Brown pants.

Bio: Willie is a calm, quiet kinda guy. I mean, he's not shy or anything... he just doesn't really shout or anything. He's bothered by heat rather easily (which is strange because of how much he likes Sammi! *is smack'd*).

Weapons/Special Items: Doesn't have anything. He... usually uses magic, I guess.

Powers/Skills/Abilities: Icy, snowy, wintery, coldness! XDD

Elodie walked silently into the dimmed forest of Lothlorien. The sun had long been set as she observed her surroundings.

'I've been traveling for so long... and I'm just now visiting Lothlorien,' she thought. 'Perhaps here I'll find some solitude.'

She sighed and slowed her pace as she thought back on all the places she had been in the past hundred+ years.

((Yay!! But PetFriendAmy, could you please... Middle-Earth-atize your characters a tad? I don't think they had sports shirts back then... ))

Voronwe was simply exhausted. He had just returned from a dangerous mission in the Borderlands*. He shook his head as he walked. So much evil- Sauron may be gone, but Middle-Earth is still full of sorcerors and Wights.

After reporting to his captain, he decided to take a stroll to calm his nerves. After a brush with some dark magicians, his brain was still a little scrambled, but he was lucky to have escaped at all. Things have changed so much, Voronwe thought as he strode through his homeland. It had been at least a year since he had been there last, he was sure.

While he was walking, he glimpsed a she-elf in a blue cloak. "I wonder what she's doing here," he murmured to himself. He made a mental note to pay her a visit after he had gotten some rest.

*I'll try to post a map of Middle-Earth, so we can all be on the same track.
