Elodie walked undisturbed through the forest. After a while, she picked a tree and sat down against it.

'There's no rush.. I suppose I'll rest here, then continue on in the morning.'

She set down her sword and bow next to her. Then, she closed her eyes and absentmindedly played with her necklace as various thoughts went through her head.

As Voronwe lay on his bed, he couldn't help but wonder about that elf he had seen. His first impression was that she was from Mirkwood, but he couldn't be sure. I heard something about a war in Eregion... maybe that's why she's here. Or maybe she's just... travelling. Like me. He then fell asleep.

Elodie slowly fell into a deep sleep.

Koren stumbled wearily out of Moria, alone save two of his followers. The rest of his band had either perished in Eregion, or fallen in Moria. The mysterious human and his comrades could hear the screams of uncountable goblin warriors behind them. The two rangers with him were anxious to leave as quickly as possible. Koren, however, was the only one who knew that the exit to Moria was now blocked, so he had no fear. After thinking for a second, he gave the command to flee to Lothlorien.

At this, his men turned pale, but he reminded them of the goblins (who they presumed to be in pursuit), and they quickly realized that it was Lothlorien or die. Reluctantly, they followed after their cunning leader.

So the Wizard didn't leave it after all, thought Koren. An interesting turn of events. Small matter, though; No doubt it is now in the possession of an elf.

And so he continued toward Lothlorien, unaware of what lay in store for him there.

Name: Rael

Race: Elf/Wizard

Age: Not even 1000

Gender: Male

Appearance: White hair to his shoulders. Clean shaven face with mystifying grey eyes. He’s about 6 feet tall which is a tall wizard due to his elf blood. He wears a blue robe with silver lining. In his robe he contains a few herbs and some magic items. In cities he covers himself in dirty clothing to look like a poor begger. His ears are slightly pointed but most just guess he had freakish ears for a human. On his back he carries a silver staff with a glowing blue orb at the top that he can quickly remove.

Bio: A wizard stripped of power for a father and a banished elf for a mom, Rael is constantly traveling for true happiness. He can cast minor spells and can heal pretty well. He trained with his staff since he was a child and is a great staff fighter. With the grace of and elf and the power of a wizard, his staff can do major butt-kicking. He’s a talented acrobatic and can do amazing stuff with his staff. The orb at time contains all of Rael’s past memories, good and bad. Of the orb is ever broken which is almost impossible, Rael will go into chaos, visiting his past physically.

Weapons/Special Items: All he uses is his magical staff which can be concealed into a walking stick in large cities. He carries a few magical/cursed items and some random herbs he’s found in his years of traveling.

Powers/Skills/Abilities: A very skilled warrior so he his put into the bigger battles like taking down the enemies’ leader with a few other creatures. If not that, he’s in the back healing members and taking down random enemies that are causing a major threat. And his eyes, some say they’re hypnotizing if he stares at you.

Gloria, Sammi and Willie were walking down the road ((fear my super-mega-limited knowledge of middle-earth!! >w<)), feeling wearier and wearier with each step they took.

"Gloria... where are we even going?" Sammi wondered. "We've been wandering forEVER!"

Gloria sighed, and looked up into the sky. "I don't know... but there's got to be a town around here, somewhere."

Willie sighed, and took a look around at the trees and mountains surrounding the group. "There isn't a town for miles... we're in the middle of a grove or something."

"We're lost!" Sammi moaned. "Gloria, let's ask for directions!" ((Sammi can get pretty whiney after wandering too long ))

Gloria gave Sammi an odd look. "Umm... Sammi..."

Suddenly, there was the sound of footsteps, and it wasn't coming from their own little group... (('kay, someone jump in, now... please))

Koren's band was near exhaustion. They had been travelling for four days now, without rest. Granted, they were rangers, but a guy's gotta sleep sometime. As they stumbled along towards the forest haven, they saw a small band. They quickly hid behind various trees. The rangers silently drew their bows... and crept forward, but Koren stayed behind. He sniffed the breeze. Oh dear, not good...

Meanwhile, the two rangers continued scouting ahead, until they were sure that the travellers were not enemies. The two of them stepped out of the bushes, which startled the trio somewhat. They made hasty introductions, and were about to inquire as to the travellers' destination, when shouts rang from behind them, back where they had left Koren. They dashed off through the trees, only to find several orcs laying lifeless on the ground. Their leader was nowhere to be found. One of the rangers called for him. Meanwhile, hiding under a fallen tree, Koren grimaced as his band attracted the group of orcs from all around. However, there was nothing he could do. After slaying Koren's comrades, the orc band moved away. After a while, Koren stood, and walked towards the road.

((*decides she doesn't like the quick-fix middle-earth-ization* okay, here's their new outfits:

Gloria: pretty much the same, just not as modern as I pictured
Sammi: a red tunic and white pants. The scrunchie is GONE! >w<
Willie: sports shirt becomes just some regular shirt. Maybe I'll keep his cloak, though...))

Sammi blinked, not too sure about their very brief encounter with two unidentified rangers. "O... kay."

"What were their names? I didn't catch them..." Willie wondered.

Gloria, however, kept her eyes on the bushes where the rangers had fled. "I think someone else is coming..." ((Koren's coming their direction, right?? ))

Elodie stirred a little in her sleep. Slowly, she opened one eye, then the other. She sat up and looked around. Judging by the light, she had only been sleeping for about an hour. She stood up and stretched.

'Another night with almost no sleep at all... So now what do I do?' she thought hopelessly.

Koren watched from off the road as he thought about the two travellers. They probably know I'm here, he decided, because of the rangers. I'm not sure if they know if I'm alive or not. He decided against his better judgement and stepped out onto the road.

Meanwhile...

Voronwe was a little worried. He had heard the reports about orcs in the woods. He had listened to whispered conversations about three humans. No mortal has set foot in this land since the king of Gondor, he thought. But perhaps Galadhim summoned them.

((Since Galadriel obviously is no longer around to rule the elves, I'm gonna call the new person Galadhim.))
