Echo felt Aaryana's small glimmer of delight (or was it surprise?) as if it were a small spark. Feeling somewhat happier herself, Echo waited for an opening in the battle.

The bell rang.

"I'll never get used to having a lunch bell in here," Aaryanna grumbled, referring to the fact that Cubi live off of emotion and need no food or sleep. "Okay, leave. Get out of my classroom."

The class stampedes out the door without you, but one boy remains behind. A white tiger succubus, the one that Aary called Jude. He's wearing a black pair of loose, baggy pants and a white cloak. Ladies, you notice that his physique is quite impressive. His first pair of wings are black as a moonless midnight, soft as down pillows. His headwings are rilliant white but... something's wrong. The left one seems broken.

He flashes a nervous smile and bows. "That was impressive. Allow me to introduce myself. Jude Ai'Crux, Cubi of Terror and Pain. Temporarily out of action right now," he gestures to his broken headwing, "But if there's any way I can assist you without using magic..."

Melody ran to the immobile bird, grabbing it and hugging it as stronght as she possibly could; if it wasn't dead already, now it certainly was.

"Carol Melody Naoki! But you can call me Melo, if you want!" She bowed back, still holding the bird. "You're soo cute! Let's be friends!" She started jumping up and down happilly.

((OOC: Yes, I willingly created her to be as annoying as humanly possible =3 And not many of you may know, but Carol is actually one of my two first name =3 (I'm called Carol-Ann, in real life =3 )))

Jude smiled, appearing charmed at Melody's enthusiasm. "Let me escort you to the new cafeteria. I'm sure you'll all fit right in here..."

Glenna smiled as Carol hugged the dead-looking bird, "You know, if that bird's actually dead, I could probably... y'know..."
The undead sand fox never liked bringing up the subject of death. She always felt as if she would be discriminated against. She had, on more than one occaision, been chased down by angry mobs. The kind of angry mob that carries around torches and pitchforks.

Relenna looked up at the sound of the bell. "So we actually get fed here," she said. "That's good, I'm famished. Where's the, er, cafeteria?" She looked around, adding under her breath, "I was starting to think they'd expect us to live off brainwaves like the rest of these Cubi freaks." Due to the proximity of Echo, Alissa, and Jude, however, she didn't speak very loudly. She didn't particularly care what her new schoolmates thought of her, but that didn't mean she was stupid enough to antagonize a bunch of Cubi.

Jude smiled sadly, picking up Relenna's stray thoughts. Best to ignore her for now. Sooner or later, she'd change her ways of thinking. "This way to the cafeteria."

The halls of SAIA were completely deserted, as most of the students had wandered off to enjoy either a nutritious meal or a chance to wander off campus.

Something black, glowing sickly green-tinged-gold crashed.

Instinctively, Jude ducked. The creature, vaguely catlike in shape attempted to latch itself onto his now-lowered broken headwing. Jude screeched in pain. Startled, the thing let go.

"I've head about these things," Jude wheezed breathlessly. "Warp'd-Aci. You know the tie that binds a Warp-Aci to a succubus? This is what happens when you take that tie and try to make a bow out of it. Then throw a couple of knots in for good measure."

A faint smirk on her face, Alissa stepped forward, swinging her spear around and down to thrust it at the Warp'd-Aci.

Jude sits on the ground, still clutching his headwings and grimacing. A slight blush rises to his cheeks.

Echo strikes and misses. The dice are making up for their previous high-number love affair by trying to drive me insane.

Rel darts forward and casts Whirlwind. ((This is close damage and not ranged, right? How do we tell when to use what, anyway? O-o))
