Glenna glances at the archer, placing herself between the equine and both Oasis and Echo. She pushes Echo forward, "I think we should hurry. The sooner we investigate, the sooner we get back from investigating. Get my drift?" ((  Well, that was subtle. )) The archer seems to know that an undead's weak spot is her brain. He raises her crossbow and aims for Glenna's head... ...And Echo trips on a pebble and knocks Glenna to the ground. An arrow whizzes through the air, right where the two furrie's heads were. ((Subtle? HA! I LAUGH IN THE FACE OF SUBLETY!)) |

The archer, frustrated that his plots were foiled, jumped out of the tree and aimed his crossbow at Echo at point-blank range.

Glenna draws her sword quickly, trying to slice at the archers legs. She hoped that he wouldn't pull the trigger the moment he got hit. Why was he here, anyway?

Echo decided to send Osi back to SAIA to get help. "Be careful, Osi, and hurry back!" She then braced herself for battle.
