Echo frowned slightly at the detection of a mental barrier, but what could you expect? Cautious, she put up her own.
Done with the battle, she sat down in a secluded corner, keenly watching the argument. Maybe something interesting would happen.
((Just 'cause Echo picks up cubi power from happiness, doesn't mean she can't be the angst pit of the group.
...translation? Savannah wanted to play an angst idiot for once! :B))

The Warp'd Aci starts coming to her senses. Startled, Jude allows his mental barrier to fluxuate. Cubi, you sense that he is very afraid... more afraid than one should be of a weak little Warp Aci.
The Aci mews pitifully and looks up at Echo with big, soulful eyes.

The Warp'd Aci starts coming to her senses. Startled, Jude allows his mental barrier to fluxuate. Cubi, you sense that he is very afraid... more afraid than one should be of a weak little Warp Aci. The Aci mews pitifully and looks up at Echo with big, soulful eyes. Echo looks up from her ((dark chasomous pit of despair! *smacked*)) scuffed boots and right into the Warp-Aci's eyes. She grinned slightly and shuffled over, offering an arm. ((By the way, did I tell you I love you? XD)) |

Relenna looked from Jude to Echo to the Aci, keenly feeling that she was missing out on some unspoken form of a conversation. Which she was, to put it bluntly. Hah, what do you expect at a place like this? thought Rel to herself. I shouldn't have expected it to be any different than...
Quickly she broke off her train of thought, focusing very hard on watching Echo and the Aci. She didn't want any nearby Cubi to hear the end of that thought. Rel preferred to keep her past to herself.

Melody jumped, surprised to hear her name.
"Oh, um..." She looked at the Aci for some times, thinking. "It glows green like plants and gold like sand, how about Oasis? I think it's fitting, and it's pretty!" She smilled, hoping Echo would like her name.

Seeing that he was outnumbered by a bunch of women, most of them not even Cubi, Jude allowed the Aci to escape. He glared at it momentarily, as if daring it to speak, but the Warp'd Aci just continued to smile.
"Why isn't it killing us right now?" Merlitz wondered. "This really is amazing. Later, you ought to go to the library and research Warp-Aci, or maybe you should bring her to Dr. Dillamond, expert in the care of magical creatures. His office is on the bottom floor."
"You seem to know a lot about this scool, considering it's your first day." Jude sounded almost accusatory.
"I have friends at this school," Merlitz said matter-of-factly. "Which reminds me, they must still be saving a seat for me at lunch. I have to go."
ACTIONS: ALL.

Thinking of something, Melody raised herself, going right in front of Jude. She stick her tongue to him...
"That's for ignoring me, meanie!" She said as she entered back her tongue.

Glenna approached the Warp Aci. She was tempted to poke it, but thought better of it: she'd rather keep what was left of her undead fingers. "So... What exactly does this thing eat?" The Warp-Aci sniffed Glenna's fingers curiously. It doesn't appear to have a mouth. "Lunch sounds good," Jude said, gently prying the were off of him." He leads you down to a crowded cafeteria, filled with Mythos, Insectis, Were, Creatues and Beings of all shapes and sizes. Oddly enough, though, Jude, Echo and Lissy seem to be the only Cubi. Jude pulls a change purse from a hidden pocket of his cloak and buys sandwiches for everyone. Ladies, he's handsome and loaded.  Oasis wraps herself around Echo's neck, eyeing the cookies hungrily. Reluctantly, Jude buys her a cookie, which the Warp-Aci absorbs through her skin. A bond seems to have formed between Echo and Oasis. ((Echo, what's your clan marking, again?)) Jude pulls a newspaper clipping from another pocket. "Finally, some time to actually read this. Noci Dunord has started her campaign again. I wondered how long it would be before the press got up there..." |
