{Meh, where'd my last post go? T__T ;___; It was a beautiful post! Argh, curse these things.}
Shazvar was immediately relieved of the soreness in his back, and his cut was healed, but many of his rough bruises and scratches were not cured and his tiredness didn't go away.
HP: 23/35 Exp: 200/1000
Unsheathing his fairly heavy sword out once again, Shazvar slid into a type of running/battling stance and stood there a moment, concentrating. A commotion? It was in Velo's direction. Clearly the Scorchio could probably take care of himself anyway, and if Shazvar aided his help he'd probably get yelled at anyway, even though the Bori himself hadn't heard Velo quite do that yet.
His expression hardened, and with a bead of sweat appearing on the back of his shoulders, he snatched Ceste's wrist with a firm grip and stared directly into her eyes with not affection, mind you, but a sense of adventure. He figured the Royal would know what he was thinking: treking through the Ski Lodge on his own. A grin emerged on his face in the shadows.
"Come on, we're going ahead! Time to fight through hordes of monsters and seek the knowledge of this mysterious building and earn ourselves the title of adventurers!"
He sounded proud only because he had expected to only travel in the abandoned Ski Lodge for at least an hour just to gather some information about what caused the avalanche, and so by actually announcing a real journey through the world, even more worlds, he was of course excited. What creatures would he defeat? What recognition would he earn?
With that, Shazvar swerved around the opposite direction, staring further into the labryrinth of the Ski Lodge, and sprinted forwardly with a estatic manner that fueled his speed, dragging Ceste ever so behind. His scabbard clacked against his legs and the blood was pumping madly through his body.
"I'll find a pistol somewhere or a tiny smoke bomb so you can find me later, Velo!!" Shazvar hollered through the air to the opposite direction, just as he was about to disappear into the darkness.
{And no, he's not DOING ANYTHING with Ceste, if you know what I mean. ^^;
By the way, I might not get on as often, as I have my school end-of-the-season tournament and I'm kinda sick. I MIGHT.}

((Okay. Whatever. XD)) Mirre stepped out of the shadows and caught at the arm of the Usul as he attempted to flee. "Ah, don't leave us yet," she said, regarding him with slight amusement. "We have not yet even learned your name." "For a kid, you've got quite the grip," the Usul said. "Well, since you guys'd probably kill me if I don't comply, my name's Takhluk. Now, if you'll let go of my arm, please?" Mirre stiffened, resenting the implication that she was merely a child, and reached instinctively for her kunai. Stalling her action, she chided herself mentally for the reflex and let go of the Usul's wrist, taking a step back.

((Dude, Velo doesn't yell. Velo gives you a cold look, makes a sarcastic remark, rolls his eyes, then walks away. XD))
Velo rolled his eyes as he heard Shadvar. A pistol or a smoke bomb? The chances of finding one? And using one indoors? Hmph. He turned his attention back to the Usul. "Alright, then what are you doing here in the first place?" he asked, waiting for the awnser.

Mirre took a glance around, then leaned against the nearest wall with a sigh and gave the other thief an inquisitive look.

"What the he** are you doing?" she said with all the crassness of her days back in the village. She tried to pry her wrist from his taught Bori claws. They were now in between so many twists and turns she was utterly lost. She stops staring bewilderidly at him. "You aren't fully healed," she cooed trying to steal some semblence of flattery into her tone. She was calming down, yes she was with a crazy young Bori, but she would not say anything more. She turned around and looked into the empty darkness. "Here."
She waves her staff hastily this time her healing slightly stifiled by her disquited state.
Heals 6 damage.

"To loot. Honestly, I thought it was obvious. But god-knows how many people have looted it before. I only found 2 gold pieces." was Takhluk's reply. He looked at the two Neopets looking at him. "How about you two? You haven't introduced yourself yet."

Mirre kept her face blank with an effort, pretending that she had not had the exact same thought as the other thief. She gave him a smooth nod instead, and an ironic smile. "I am Mirre, since you ask so--" she raised her eyebrows "--politely. Where do you come from, Takhluk?"

She turned around and looked into the empty darkness. "Here." She waves her staff hastily this time her healing slightly stifiled by her disquited state. Heals 6 damage. {I was thinking since Velo was older, he might yell at Shazvar as if he were a younglin still, but it would be more of a exaggerated way. Sorry. } HP: 29/35 Exp: 200/1000 Shazvar merely doesn't pay attention to Ceste until he sees a series of lit torches, lighting up most of the hallways about, and finds a small encarved room to the left. The room looked built into, like it wasn't there before, and Shazvar sprinted faster ahead, wondering what was in there. His eyes searched the room from the outside as he still ran. It was difficult to peer through as he was running fast, so he flexed out the claws on his toes and made a sreeching stop a ways past the room. He let go of Ceste's hand, as he knew she might get a little teed-off since she was used to be treating much better than that. Now walking, Shazvar followed the hallway a little ways until he was back at the encaved room. A torch, flame still mysteriously burning, was held up by an iron figure on the wall, and he took it as a tool to see in the light, but shortly after entering the unknown room, he realized he didn't need it. The room was a square, normal-looking area of about four beds and dressers. There were many tall, dusty bookshelves that looked as if they were about ready to crumble, and there were many desks and broken lamps that were covered in spyderwebs. Persian-type rugs and warm-colored, Victorian items were all about the room, giving it a more cozy feel than the outside areas. This must be one of the Staff bedrooms, Shaz assumed, amazed with the partial good condition most of the room was in. Not so much as more than two steps did a ragged, unsanitary-looking shadow Lupe step into the area through a curtain that Shazvar assumed covered another exit or entrance. "Welcome to my termporary inn. I see you are my second customer!" He greeted. Although confused, Shazvar replied, "Second? What happened to the first?" {Wish I could write more, but my dad wants me off.}

(Nah, it's just fine. Velo's about 2 years older, so I don't really think he'll be that much of a senior, though. Maybe I'll have him yell sometime, though. XD)
"Velo." the Scorchio said simply, referring to his name. "Happy Valley? Hmm. So how did you survive the avalanche?" he berated. He didn't trust this Usul. He was hiding something.
(Leave me alone with the thieves, will ya? XD Good thing Velo doesn't have anything to steal except his weapons and clothes. And I don't think they want to have a naked Scorchio chasing them.)

Velo said, crossing his arms and glaring at Takhluk. He didn't like this Neopet. He was a bit too secretive. *Remember that the avalanche was a few months ago. ((Boy, isn't Velo ironic? Not liking someone because they're too secretive, when he's quiet and prefers to stay out of the way. XD And he sure can point out loopholes. ))

I heard the avalanche coming and headed for the nearest building I could find," said Takhluk. That Scorchio was tough to fool. He cassually glanced at the Bori down the hall and then back at the Scorchio.

Mirre raised a brow incredulously at this statement, but said nothing, preferring to let the Scorchio handle it. Even better would be if the two got in a fight, and one finished the other off--then she'd only have to defeat the one. She started up suddenly, recalling that there had been others, and glanced around quickly. They were gone. The Kougra sank back against the wall, closing her eyes for a moment and berating herself silently for letting the others escape.
