Shazvar's eyes popped out suspiciously at Crete's stretched beckoning. The logic of her words made him take only a few steps forward, but after that he stayed firm, knowing, from training at the academy, to obey his will alone if it was the right cause. He stood his ground and pulled a paw off to the side, ready to draw his sword just in case. He seemed to do that a lot, lately.
"You're a healer, aren't you?" His eyes narrowed at Crete, but then his mind wandered over to Crete's charming, emotional looks, taking the bait, but almost feeling like he was doing so purposely, just to see the true side of this Royal's tatics. "Look, I'm sorry if I hurt you, but there was that...snow...slide...and I wish to find out what has happened here."
Then he intentionally came back to reality. "And so...why are you be here?"

"How did you guess," she said playfully swatting him in the side. "You didn't hurt me, it's just I had some extended family living in the slide and now they are all dead." This line was said with such solmenity it seemed truthful even to her. Perhaps she couldn't come to truth with it herself. Her sister, her mother, all gone, wiped away by the pure eraser called nature. There is no revenge against the snow. "I am taking a break from court, and I came to have a holiday with my family, but I suppose unfortunately that plan has been cancelled. I find myself rather alone," she looked straight into his eyes travelling into some part of his soul but drawing out before understanding a thing of him, "and vunerable. Like right now I think there is a person standing rather close to us, if I were you I would look to the right, around the corner," She whispered in a lyrical soprano.

Mirre, who had been leaning back against the wall quite at her ease, started up quickly. So perhaps there was more to the healer than met the eye... Nevertheless, if she was found here by a knight there would be trouble. She took a slow step into the thickest shadows of the hall and rubbed the hilt of her kunai thoughtfully.

Shazvar couldn't help but act seemingly normal. He didn't take Ceste's bait once again, and yet he didn't exaclty ignore it. How could he act with this getting to him?
His eyes followed attention over to the right, however, where Ceste had pointed out. His eyes scoured the shadows, and for a moment he thought he saw a faint glint, but the Bori shook his head. "What do you mean we're vulnerable? There's nothing there," He replied confusedly, narrowing his eyes.

Taking a long, easy stride out of the shadows, she caught at the Usul's wrist, forestalling his reach for what she guessed was a weapon of some sort. |

She smiled at him with all the sadness of the world and adopted a more homely expression, almost one of desperation. "I know perhaps Sir Shazvar you think I'm mad, but truely." He paws inadvertantly clung to his jacket and she blushed maidenly as she pulled them away, all the while fluttering her eyelashes. "But there really is someone there I heard the floorboards creak a minute ago, I'm quite good at detecting these sort of things."
