Reina followed Keythar. "I sure hope you know what you're doing," she said sarcastically.

"So do I," said Kaythar softly.
At the Inn, Kaythar did notice Surdith's absense, but didn't mention it to anyone.

Junkyard looked around the Inn. "Er, how are we supposed to pay to stay in here?" he asked quietly. Maybe he shouldn't have asked that after all.

"Quiet!" Kaythar hissed. "If anyone who works here hears you, they'll get us thrown out."

Junkyard stuck his tongue out at Kaythar in an childish way. "Ah, shut up. It won't be the first time I'd be thrown out of an Inn and it won't be the last!" He turned to Reina and smiled. "I'm Junkyard, by the way."

"What an appropiate name," Kaythar muttered.

Junkyard shot a glance at Kaythar. "Nobody asked for your opinion," Junkyard hissed. He turned back to Reina. "My real name's Jimmy. Junkyard is just my nickname."

Suddenly, a window opened from the outside, and in slipped Surdith. He crept along to the edge of the table and sat there, placing the amethyst on the counter and looking attentively at Reina, Kaythar, and Junkyard talking.
Soon, he called order to the table. 'What do you guys think we should do from here?' he asked. 'We can go further north through the Clokend Mountain Mines and then go through the Marshes, go west towards Lost Hills, or go South along Green Plains, or maybe south-east towards the Training Lands.'

"I don't care where we go," said Kaythar. "But before we decide I want to ask you why you snuck off like that. That's right, I noticed."

'Why I snuck off?' Surdith began to stammer. 'Ummm...'
He was about to think of a liable excuse when the innkeeper concidentally saved him. 'Thank you for your payment,' he told them, and then gave them each their own keys while fingering the amtheyst ring around his finger; a strip of gem that was made completely out of the purple material. 'Your rooms are on the fifth floor.'
'Why thank you,' said Surdith, grabbing his key and running up the stairs before any of the others could stop him. He rushed up to his room (5F) and slammed the door shut, locking it. He sank on to the bed and put his arms against his forehead. She must never have know what he just did with her amulet, and he wasn't trusting Kaythar to keep it all secrets.

Kaythar figured that by Surdith's reaction, him sneaking off was none of his bussiness. When he had asked the question it was out of mild curiosity only; he didn't really care what the reason was that much. However, Surdith's reaction had only increased his suspicion. He decided he'd keep an eye on Surdith from now on.
He walked up to the fith floor. He paused by Surdith's room for a moment, then moved on. Once inside his own room, he sat down on his bed. He opened up the window to let early moonlight stream in. Moonlight tended to bring peace to his soal. He quickly locked the door to his room so that none of the children could disturb him, then sat back down. He was one of the few people who felt annoyance whenever a cloud passed over the moon; it interrupted the steady light.

At first, Reina raised an eyebrow at Junkyard. But she finally said, "It's nice to meet you, Jimmy. I'm Reina."
She turned to Surdith, grabbed her key, and swept off towards her bedroom at 5D. The young girl flopped onto her bed, staring out at the moonlight. Reina was suddenly tempted to change the night into day, since she loved basking in light and warmth, but thinking of her comrades suppressed the urge. "They might kick me off their team," she thought, shrugging.

Junkyard sighed and grabbed his key. He was sort of excited; it was his first time sleeping in an Inn ever. But he was a little depressed. Junkyard had a feeling that his "teammates" didn't like him very much. He wouldn't blame them. He was a homeless kid with no where to go. Why would they want to like a kid like him? He thought those things to himself as he carried himself up the stairs.
Junkyard looked down at his key. On it said "5A". Junkyard then looked up and saw himself staring at a door that said "5A". "This must be the one," Junkyard said to himself. He opened the door and walked inside, staring at the room. He locked the door behind him and placed the key on the nearest dresser.
Junkyard plopped himself onto the bed. The curtains were open and the moonlight was pouring in. The boy looked around the room, slightly bored. He put his hands in his pockets and felt something in there. "Oh right," he said. "It's the Glowy Ball thing." Junkyard took the orb out of his pocket, but it wasn't glowing anymore. It looked just like a toy ball that was painted red. "Stupid thing." Junkyard picked it up and banged the orb against the side table drawer next to his bed. After about 4 hits, the orb began glowing again. "There we go," Junkyard muttered. He turned to the window and his jaw dropped; the moon was disappearing and the sun was rising at a fast rate, as if time had just sped up. Soon the sun was in the sky. Junkyard looked to his Glowy Ball thing. It was floating around the room, glowing like it was before. Junkyard shook his head. "This cannot be good..."

Frustrated, Kaythar stormed out of his room and knocked loudly on the door to room 5A.

"Ack!" Junkyard's flailed his arms around and fell off the floor from the loud knock. He climbed back up onto the bed and realized someone was knocking. "Erm, uh, coming!" Junkyard called. He quickly tried to grab the floating Sun Orb, and stuffed it in his pocket once he had. He then stumbled off the bed and to the door, and then opened it up quiet breathlessly. Junkyard tried to smile, but his heart sank when he saw Kaythar's face. "Erm, uh, beautiful morning, eh? I guess we were up longer than I thought."
