Kaythar glanced behind. "If you don't wanna be alone, then keep up," he said impatiently, then he turned his gaze forward again and continued his swift stride.

Surdith tried to get out of the woman's hold, but he could not; for someone her age she appeared to be extremely strong and powerful. He looked towards the other side of the woman where the Volcano-girl Reina was. The woman had once again taken a hold out of her hand in her iron grip and was pulling them towards a shadowy, dark alleyway. 'I'm Mrs. Furberworth. Mr. Furberworth was taken from Under Aslgo by the king and now lives above us,' she started to explain. 'Far, far above us.' 'Oh... I'm sorry,' said Surdith, though, by judging his own tone, he felt like he should've started running from this dark alleyway instead of letting some old widow drag him all the way over here. 'Now, in this alleway, Nani was playing with her Bouncy Blue Ball until she reached the shadows, and then I saw two bandits jump in and take her!' 'What?' asked Surdith, who was looking at the hole through which sunlight streamed back at the heart of the city. 'Two bandits came in the shadows?' 'Yes, you stupid child,' said Mrs. Furberworth. 'The shadows of Under Aslgo are inhabited by bandits, who captures anything that is weak and brings them to a hidden location in the - well, we call them the Above Sewers - and they're usually never seen again. A lot of reports have said that bandits have been known to appear frequently in the shadows at this alleyway -' The alleyway was between a Bridal Groom Shop and a tavern. What little light came from their side windows instantly disappeared as they stepped into the shadows. Suddenly, there was a rustling sound above them, and two bandits, both with long purple hair and dressed like ninjas, appeared out of nowhere. One of them was a girl, because her vibrant purple hair was pulled into a ponytail behind her. 'Wow, that's awesome hair,' said Surdith, distracted. 'What shampoo do you use?' 'Essence of Waste Weed, why thank you. Your hair isn't too bad either, it looks -' 'Mayi!' said her bandit partner out of the shadows. 'This is not the time to talk about grooming products! We have to capture those two 'above dwellers' and bring them to the Master! Oh why did I ever become a mentor...' they heard him mumble to himself. 'Oh, right, 'said Mayi. It was clear that she was only a novice. 'Now we're going to capture you and stuff.' The bandits attack as Kaythar and Lysander appeared in the shadows with them and Mrs. Furberworth drew out a long walkingstick made out of heavy, polished oak. Name: Taisku Monster Level: 2 Type: Human/bandit Weapons: Shadow Chucks, Level 1 Bandit Weaponary Armour: (none) Name: Mayi Monster Level: 1 Type: Human/bandit Weapons: (none) Armour: (none) (you get to make your own monsters! Note about names: if it isn't human, don't make one unless you really want to or it's important to the plotline somehow) Surdith got out his Cosmic Throwing Stars and threw them at the form of Taisku. He jumped out of the way like a shadow and they hit the wall before coming back to him. There were three of them, but the only way he could be sure that he'd manage to hit the bandits if the alleyway had some light... ------------------- NEWCOMER: You were washed down the pipe to the place where the secret headquarters of the shadow bandits are, in a hidden location in the city that you can only get to with the pipes. You can do anything else you want from there, but don't try to contine the plotline too far until you get another player.

(Okay, so I'm still with Surdith, right? Sorry, I might suddenly pop into a place I wasn't even going to. XD)
Reina gasped as she saw the bandits attack Surdith. She got out her own Sun Dagger and rushed towards Mayi, who balled her hands into fists and attempted to hit the teenage girl. However, Reina was quick enough to slash at the bandit's arm with her weapon, and watched her opponent recoil in horror, clutching her cut arm. In anger, Mayi kicked at the young girl, who gasped as she found herself hitting the wall of the alley.
"Shall I light this place up?" asked Reina, rubbing her head and going for Mayi again.

"Oof!" Junkyard's voice rang out through all the tunnels. He stood up and looked around, noticing he was now underneath Asglo. The boy brushed some of his red hair out of his eyes and shivered. When he looked down, he saw water. Junkyard now looked around and saw he was sitting in fountain. He stood up and got out of the fountain to try and drain his clothes of the wetness. A little orb of glowing redness flew out of Junkyard's pocket. He grabbed for it and stuffed it back into his pocket. "Stupid little thing, always trying to get away," he mumbled. He looked back up and heard voices. "What the heck's going on?" he asked himself.

Clayri's eyes widened as she went to examine the battle, but she didn't want to get involved, so she hid and watched in terror. (The part about the beauty products made me crack up!)

Surdith knew that he had to get some light into the alleyway somehow if they ever had any hopes of defeating the two bandits. He looked up towards the ceiling of the city: the pipes seemed to be a little rusty... perhaps if he poked holes in them directly above the alleyway, some of the moonlight from above could shine in, and Kaythar could use his Moon Charm!
'Reina,' Surdith called. The volcano-girl turned around. 'Throw the flame of your Sun Dagger towards the ceiling!'
She looked mystified but did it anyways; gathering all of her might she threw it directly above their heads while Surdith threw his Cosmic Throwing Stars. The struck the ceiling and dented the pipes, and a large crack appeared where a small strip of moonlight shone down into the town.
It all happened very quickly: Taisku falling back, hissing, and then all that was left of him was black smoke; Mayi's bandit clothes fading away to reveal a sleeveless black top with black pants and black miniskirt and her purple hair fading into a light pink; the windows of the tavern smashing and two more bandits came out, only to be killed by the light-
'Everybody! Grab hold of the moonlight!' Surdith said, suddenly. He clasped his hand around it, and so did five other people. Bandits were slowly approaching the alleyway from brick walls they had never noticed before, but before they could reach the five warriors and a volatile captured beauty queen, the moonlight was pulling them up, up back over the ground.
When the light faded and the passage to Under Aslgo sealed itself, they found themselves in a very scary place indeed.

"Doesn't matter," Kaythar said impatiently. "Whatever it is, it's absolutely none of our bussiness. We should leave."

Surdith turned towards a glass door near the building. It appeared to be only one story high, and the ceiling was made out of rusty, pipe-like metal...
'You may be right, Kaythar' he said slowly, 'But I remember that around the Lion Fountain there were eight of us, and three of us washed down another pipe and the five of us got washed down another one. Didn't that crazy Mrs. Fuberworth woman mention something about the shadow bandit's hide-out being somewhere in the Above Sewers?'
This stumped the rest of the group. (Mayi had snuck off north towards the Cloken Mountain Mines as soon as they emerged but nobody noticed her. They were right by the foot of the mountains anyway and most things were in shadow).
'Hold on a second,' Surdith said, with excitement in his voice. He ran up to the building. There were calls of warning, but he took no heed. He looked through the glass door and found out that he was right about his suspicion all along. He turned around and declared to the others:
'This isn't the entrance to the bandit hideout!' he said, almost laughing. 'This is just a top window! This is the ceiling of the bandit hideout!'
The others gathered around him and they all looked down. The hideout was a huge room with what looked like offices set to one side. On the other side there were many various things happening, but whatever they were doing they weren't doing it at the moment because everything was cornering three figures who, by the looks of it, had fallen from the gigantic sewer pipe set into the wall that marked the official entrance to the hide-out.
'There're the other three!' Surdith said with excitement in his voice. 'We have to go save them!'
He took out his Throwing Stars and used them as knives to cut a hole in the window. The only way down was to jump, and it looked like that jump would be at least 50 stories.
'So, who wants to go first?' he asked, looking around the group.

Reina shuddered. "You're not pushing ME down there," she said haughtily. "We need someone who can harness the powers of air and try to fly, and then that someone can find another way for the rest of us to climb down." She glared at them all. "What? I'm not an air genius!"

Lysander looked down and gulped. "Definitely, definitely not me." she said. "Reina has a point. Someone needs to fly in and find another way for the rest of us to get inside. Either that, or we find a rope or something. But I doubt we could find a rope long enough, so..."
