Julia and Iris followed. Julia watched Iris walk in a gliding way, she was still in awe of the woman.

Thaine glanced at Iris for a moment, and couldn't help smiling out of the corner of his mouth. Compared to her, he looked so... mundane, whether it was appearence or the way they walked.

Kaiira didn't seem to notice Iris's grace. She was focused on getting to WernWood as soon as possible, Maio following her.

Thaine cleared his throat. "So, Kaiira," he said, "you seem in a hurry to get to Wernwood. Why might that be?"

"Well we know we arn't going to find any here." said Iris pointing to the surrounding forest.

"It's as good a bet as any big city," said Thaine simply. "Because there are so many people, it makes it more likely that some of them will be souls. If there aren't any, we'll go to another city or town."

((They're supposed to defeat a band of evil villains, of course. =P I know it's cliché, but it's all I could think up...So yeah. It's more complicated than that, but I don't feel like explaining right now, being the lazy bum I am.))
Kaiira kept walking, silver eyes gazing far ahead, unblinking.
Maio watched, puzzled. Why was she so pressed all of a sudden? It was she who, only a few days ago, was telling him that the Souls were given an eternity to to their deed, that they would only die if it was to be done in Death. Why the sudden change? He was tempted to ask, but did not telepath his question. As Kaiira always said, "You need never take back something you've never said in the first place."
((I know this sounds like it's dying, but I have a plot twist planned out. I should be starting it in my next post.))
