Imrald started off down the mountains to the underground, where much of the living was. Imrald crawled under the hole into the subterranean, walking along the rocky halls to the stables, where several horse were kept.

A young Dark Elven woman sat in her tower meditating and watching over the various caravans. But one kept her particular interest for certain reasons. It had been working and systimatically as she ordered until some unpleasant intervention to free the slaves came and havoc broke loose. She flinced and practically snarled to see that even some of her own soldiers had lost their minds and also tried to help the liberation.
"Traitors..." she whispered to herself.
Suddenly the slaves were all let free from their chains and a carpet of humans and elves alike were lying slain on the damp evening ground and a mass exodus fled from the site.
This had gone too far. She had to intervene. She slowly opened her eyes and with a single breath she materialized at the grounds of the massacre.
"PATHETIC!" She shouted to the remaining guards, not taking notice to the ones struggling, bleeding and struggling to their feet. She jumped onto the top of the caged wagon, her dark robes and hair flying frantically in the breeze.
"I'm ashamed of every last one of you. Getting so easily defeated by slaves and outsiders! As dreadfully foolish most of you are I do feel that for surviving you must be rewarded for your loyalty. Return to the castle and we shall plot the execution of the traitors."
With another breath they were all safe inside their massive dwelling. Each living soldier wrapped and aided for in their im\nfirmary bed. The slaves left behind were placed back into their secure chambers without aid.
One young soldier in a close bed weakly reached a hand out to her and said "Thank you Lady Diae. We're grateful."
With a weak smile she nodded nd disapparated to her tower once again.
"Now I must find that boy before it's too late."
With that she closed her eyes and tried to concentrate focus on a certain freed slave boy.

Thenin looked at the people gathered before him, then turned hearing the boy groan as the wounds closed and shakily stood up. "Careful young one." the Elf said, "Do not hurt yourself." "You shouldn't have rescued me." he said, "It will only bring about the death of the people." Theningwanur shook his head, "No, it will save the people." he said, "You are the last of the line of Hjary, the last of the Immortal Line of Men." He looked at the boy, "Only you can free your people, many others have tried and failed because they did not have a Royal leading them." he pulled a sword out of a tree, the sword he had hidden there long ago. "Only you can weild the power of the Sword of Ages, the sword of your line. One thing you do not know, young one, is that your line Hjary, its name mean Phoenix. Meaning that you will rise from the ashes just as the bird did." * * * * * "Lady Diae," said a Drow hesitantly approaching the door to her chamber. Even though he was a General and was on good terms with her, even he did not want to invoke her wrath upon him. "I hate to disturb you, but I must." he paused, showly pushing the door to her chambers open. "I sent scouts into the forest as commanded, all I have recieved back is their heads." He snarled, "It appears the Light Elves have developed a taste for our most primitive negotiating techniques." Thawheneb finished, looking at his Noble superior proudly. He knew what she would do with the triators, or at least suspected he knew what she would do with them considering their tastes for humiliating punishments were the almost the same.

The Lady of the Dark Ones sat amoung her cushions trying to locate the boy. But it was obvious he was somewhere within the Light Elven lands. A place to far protected specifically from Diae's view with their spells and hexes. She almost had penetrated through to him but suddenly she sensed another approaching her chambers.
It was Thawheneb, her trusted General of the Drow armies. Diae listened closely though she knew it wasn't to be good news. Once he was done she sat in her cushions pondering and concieving a new plan.
"Take our Light Elven prisoners." she began calmly still staring out the window "Brainwash them to believe that they're own kin are their mortal enemies. Have them literally tear apart their families and friends. And have them make sure the traitors are guided to safety. For now that is..." she finished with a weak smile.
Diae finally turned to her general "Would we have enough prisoners for such a massacre?"

Thawheneb rubbed his chin for a moment, his dark eyes sinking back into his head. "I think so." he said, "I could have them brainwash one of their family and help spread the slaughter, if it doesn't work they'll kill the person and move on." He smiled darkly, "And I know just who to brainwash for my revenge." He said evilly, his family had been killed by Light Elves, though they were their own kin because of Thawheneb, and now he had a chance to strike back at the very person who had killed them.
"I will brainwash their General's son, and have him torture his entire family to death." he said, "I will then have him torture the King's daughter to death..."

Chris looks shocked. "I thought the royal line was dead. Killed by the Drows."

Arajay again buried her face in her hands in mock despair. "Oh sure, the foretold royal line will lead everyone to victory," she muttered. "Ha!"

Theningwanur looked at the girl, his eyes flaring briefly with anger. "The Royal Line of Hjary will lead the people to their freedom." He snapped, "You'd better belive that."
The boy looked at the Elf and shook his head, "I can't be a Royal." he said, "I don't have their birth markings, and I am just a slave, nothing more."
The Elf looked at the boy. "Say Cle'g dor ne'sgoth." he said.
The boy nodded, "Cle'g dor ne'sgoth." he said, suddenly a golden Phoenix appeared on th left side of his chest as well as on his right wrist, right shoulder, and forehead. He gasped in amazement. "But the Drow should have killed me."
"They tried, but the Immortal Line is harder to track than they thought, and you will prove to them that the name of your line was not a lie." Thenin said.

Arajay ignored the flash of anger, but stared as the phoenix landed on the boy's wrist. Her cat jumped to the nearest branch and reached out a paw to poke the phoenix.

Diae reclined fully back into her cushions with a pleasant dreamy smile.
"I love it. Though the General's boy is quite resistant to simply shut up and obey us. Good plan to attack their rulers. I don't deny they are intelligent, but without leadership those Light Elves will wreak havoc amoung themselves. Which would give us he perfect opportunity to escort those traitors bck to where they belong. Send some of your best soldiers out and have them believe I have no idea of their treason... "
She adjusted herself on the cushions and faced her general.
"But there is one last thing I must ask. And unforetunately it won't be as simple as the others. One of our slaves was set free in the massacre back at the caravan. He's a young male that has been badly injured and is now under the care one of their healers. And I don't see why I should keep the truth from you. He's the last of the Immortal Line of Hjary and contrary to popular belief I do NOT want him dead."
Diae decided to keep these matters to herself.
"I'm sorry I couldn't be more specific about his description. Bu do we have someone who could fetch him quickly and without struggle from the Cockroaches?"
