"She's probably bluffing it." He paused and looked at Kyp. "Do you know how we could have gotten here? Not five minutes ago we were in Ireland."

"Something similar happened to me," said Harry. "I was up in Scottland, where I was at... School, then I found myself here. What was the reason for that again, Kyp?"

Artemis turned and noticed the disappearance of Voldemort. "Very interesting," he commented. "Your friend over there just vanished, if you hadn't noticed. Out of curiosity... exactly how is that done?"
Holly hovered a bit closer, coming very near Artemis and Butler but not showing herself. At first she thought the Mud Man had somehow shielded himself, but peering through her helmet's filters she realized he had truly vanished. Thinking back to Foaly's vanishing shuttle and the odd transportations that had happened, she wondered if this was more of the same.

After many attempts, Voldemort finally managed to apparate to the island, even though he was not sure of its exact location. He looked to the sky. "That witch is apparently immune to death itself," he explained to where he though his new "Master" was.

Curses, you are one of those that thinks death is the ultimate torture? Yes she is immune to death. I hoped I could find someone who could inflict worse than death.

Voldemort sighed. "I do know another spell," he said. "One that can cause great pain without killing. I'd imagine that if I cast it several times, it could cause even more pain. How does that sound?"

Good, very good. Spells perhaps will have less of an effect than desired though.. although I trust you are of great power?

"Are you joking?" said Voldemort. "Of couse I am of great power. I am Lord Voldemort, the most powerful wizard of all time!" The name Albus Dumbledoor suddenly appeared in his mind, but Voldemort shook out the thought.

Butler also noticed the slightly blurry patch of air above his charge's shoulder. Surreptitiously he took a pair of sunglasses from his pocket and slipped them on. These were no ordinary sunglasses; they had been constructed by Artemis from some stolen LEP helmets, and contained an anti-shield filter, allowing Butler to see shielding fairies.
"Captain Holly Short," he murmured under his breath to the fairy near his shoulder.
She jumped, and motioned for him to stay quiet. Artemis glanced at the shielded Holly, then at Butler; by the expression in his eyes, Butler knew that he had figured it out.

(In my opinion, it's never too late to join an RP. I think I know enough about that series to play along with it, having read most of the first book myself, but you'll just have to forgive me with how much I hate that series. Don't let that stop you though.)

Voldemort then apparated back to London. This time he went to another part of the city that was aways from where the group was, wanting to strike from the shadows and show no mercy.

"You still haven't asked us what you want help with," Artemis pointed out. "Exactly how does one stop this ultimate evil, anyway? And in most disputes, I'm happy enough to remain neutral."
Holly, on the other hand, just wanted to know what was going on. Knowing it was probably a mistake, she unshielded and looked straight at Kyp. "What's going on? Where are we?" she said. "This isn't another world. This is London, but... things are different. Something's happening, and I don't like it."
