(It's just this HP spoof... His name was Valmort, and I got into the habit of calling him that... There was also the Horrible Hair-Monster Harmony, and Ronny the Bear, and Hagar the Horrible.)
"Not to far," said Harry. "He's probably either at his house or at the headquarters of the Order of the Phe..." "AVACADAVRA!" hissed a horrible voice. Nearby was Volemort, who had cast one of the most horrible spells imagionable. It had involved instant death. A shot of green jetted toward Kyp.

(It's Avada Kedavra) Kyp looked puzzled as the green light hit her. "Sheesh, talk about unimaginative. Instant death? I'm sure you want me alive." She seemed unaffected. (Sorry for the god-moding-ness)

(It's okay, I expected her to do something to have it not kill her anyways. And forgive me for the misspelling, I know how the spells are pronounced better than the spelling...)
Harry jumped up, his wand at the ready. "You're not dead!" he exclaimed. Volemort seemed just as surprised.

"Technically I'm dead already. Long story there." She stared at Voldemort. "You've been to the island, haven't you?"

"I haven't the faintest idea of what you are talking about," said Volemort in a horrible voice, sounding like a cross between a hiss and a growl. He decided that for now, he'd cover up for his new "Master".

Kyp sighed.

Harry had no idea what anyone was talking about; the clearest thing to him was that Voldemort wanted to kill Kyp.

((All right, this looks interesting... do you mind if I use some chars from the Artemis Fowl books? I'm planning on using Opal Koboi for the villain, but probably will use more than one good character...))

(You'll have to explain stuff to me since I don't know much about those books... I own the first one, but I haven't touched it, I just know that the main character is some twelve-year-old hacker or something like that...)

((basically, Artemis is a 12-year-old criminal genius, although the books span a period of two years so by the fourth he's 14. His human friends are Butler, his bodyguard, and Juliet, Butler's 16-year-old sister. In the first book he made his first contact with the fairy People, specifically Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon division. There are different kinds of fairies like elves, gnomes, dwarfs, and centaurs, each with their own abilities and so forth. Almost all fairies have certain magic they can use: shielding, mesmer, and healing unless I'm missing something. After he kidnapped Holly, Artemis encountered the fairies in several other circumstances, sometimes being forced to work together.
I'm changing certain things from the end of the fourth book, though. I won't say them for fear of spoilers to other people, but you'll notice some things are different if you have read it.))
It was an ordinary mission for Captain Holly Short. In fact, to be precise it wasn't exactly a mission at all. She was completing the power-restoring Ritual after a nasty incident with a few B'wa Kell goblins and a troll injured her fellow officer Captain Kelp and drained her of her remaining power when she healed him and mesmerized the goblin leader.
As she shoved the acorn into the ground, the familiar surge of power greeted her. Buzzing into a shield, she took off. Although the elves were wingless, all LEP officers wore artificial wings, most of which had been invented by Foaly. He was a centaur, an inventor, and the LEP's technical consultant.
Just then, Holly heard Foaly's voice on her headset. "Holly! There's an emergency, something's going on..."
Holly gasped, remembering two times that the fairies had almost been discovered. "What's happening? A probe? Were we detected?"
"I dunno, I'd take cover if I were you..."
Suddenly, there was a blinding flash of light, and silence.
---
Opal sat pensively, staring out through the bars of her reinforced cell. The pixie had finally been arrested after her attempt to reveal the fairies to the human world. She was desperate for revenge, but the LEP was taking no chances after her last miraculous escape. To make matters worse, her two henchmen had also been arrested, leaving no option for outside help. She had been in this state for almost six months, with no means of escape. And although this gave Holly and Foaly great peace of mind, it only made Opal more and more bitter.
Suddenly, there was a flash of light. Koboi jumped to her feet, alarmed... then it was as if the walls of her cell dissolved and she was in a different place.
---
"Foaly? Foaly! What happened?" Holly was standing in the middle of a human city she recognized as London. She was shielded to avoid prying human eyes. To her alarm, only static was coming in, Then the centaur's voice buzzed in.
"I'm glad I got this working," he muttered. "Holly, listen. I'm not in Haven. I'm somewhere near London. And this is the odd thing... there's no pressure elevators. At all."
"None?" Holly's voice was alarmed. No elevators meant no trips to the underground Haven, and no refuge for fairies.
---
"Butler? What was that?" Artemis's usually expressionless voice was actually tinged with fear. Even with his knowledge of the fairies, he had never heard of anything like this before.
"I'm not sure," his bodyguard replied. More than just a bodyguard, Butler was also Artemis's closest friend. "I think we're in London. How we got here is another matter entirely."
Neither of them paid any attention to the child who walked by, seeming to be no more than eleven years old. Opal smiled slyly as she saw Artemis. Her old nemesis was here as well.
This would be fun.

Kyp looked around. "Oh great, more people." She called out to Artemis and Holly "Friend or foe?"

Voldemort and Harry looked over as well.

((Holly's shielded - that's not to say that she's invisible, just that she's vibrating so fast that she can't be seen except for a slight blur.)) Artemis paused, a calculating look on his face. "Depends. That is to say, what's in it for me?" Butler groaned behind him, hoping Artemis wouldn't make anyone mad enough to attack.
Holly meanwhile looked at Voldemort and Harry with apprehension. Brilliant: take a couple of idiot Mud Men and give them wands. Really, some people astounded her.

Voldemort simply decided to apparate out of the area; he couldn't think of anything else to do.
Harry shrugged. "So who are you again?" he asked Artemis and Butler.

"Well if you're a friend I won't have to send you to some deep corner of the universe where you will rot for eternity!" Kyp said cheerfully. "But seriously. Are you good, evil, in between..?"
