"You don't have to come if you don't want to," Holly told him.
"Well, now that I've gotten involved, I may as well keep going. Besides, as the LEP, protecting Haven is our responsibility."
Artemis, meanwhile, nodded to Butler. "I believe the Fowl family's criminal reputation may be useful here."
"Your family isn't evil," Butler protested.
"I know. But I could easily fool these island people into thinking that."

"Oh that would easily work," Kyp told Artemis. "The evil one sees loads of people sort of like that- arrogant criminals that think they can make it big by 'paying homage' to it. Hm..." she trailed off for a second. "Got it! We can be the sacrifice you're bringing to him as a token of your goodwill."
