"Somehow, I don't think there are any others," said Avasa quietly.

Klatulus raised an.. umm.. eyebrow? *wonders if he even has eyebrows*
"Is this some sort of joke or attempt to be rid of me so I stop showing you up?" he asked suspiciously.
"No. I assure you, this is very real."
"So then what you're saying is I'm a better leader than you and therefore will be better at leading the attack."
"You're no more of a great leader than a mouse."
Klatulus smirked. He knew Halleth would deny his abilities as a leader, "so what you're really saying then is that you're to much of a coward to lead it yourself."
Halleth shot him a look of deadly force that could stop a rihno in it's tracks. He had nothing to counteract this statement emmidiately. He had to think about what he was going to say. Klatulus laughed at the gailwing. But Halleth found an answer to the taunts.
"You aren't backing down from this are you? I always knew you were nothing but a coward."
"I am not backing down, merely curous why you deny the glory for yourself."
"The glory will be mine. I have been held responsible for the find and will also be held responsible for our victory. It is already written in the stone."
"So when am I to launch my attack?"
"Tomorow."
"Just like you to be so hasty. Why rush into such a thing? They don't know we've found them. A risky presumtion perhaps, but a likely one. So we should take time to perfect our strategy and ready our forces."
"How much time are you proposing?"
"Two weeks. Most of the forces are already trained for arial combat. All I need to do is create a plan wich I need four days for. The rest of the time shall be used to drill the attack force. It's a short amount of time really. All I need is a map of the outside of the building. It is to risky to attempt to scout the inside. We must keep them unaware of our knowledge."
"Fine then. You will have your two weeks. But you had better be ready by then."

((It's aliiiiive. XD))
Tyler looked at Stella, a curious look in his eyes. "What's the Stormblade?"
"It's an ancient Styrri sword," she said. "It carries the power of wind and water, the power of storms. But it was lost long ago in the first battle of Ktann. Its last wielder fought alongside the Guardian of the Emerstone, the one who originally destroyed the reign of Ktann."
"My brother is the Guardian of the Emerstone," said Tyler slowly. "And... Avasa says that Karne is going to resurrect Ktann..."
The girl's eyes widened. "Ktann!" she breathed. "It's what we all feared. Oh, I wish we could fight alongside you, Tyler... but... it's strictly forbidden that any of us should interact with the Railin below. Hoshi was really brave to go ahead and rescue you like that, you know... although given the situation, with you nearly dying and all, the Council is likely to be lenient with him. Most of us probably would have done the same thing." She shook herself. "I'm going to go tell Elenya about this. She's my mentor." Stella hastily excused herself.
---
"The Stormblade..." murmured Sylvia. "Then we would be a force to be reckoned with. It and the Emerstone together would be almost unstoppable. They were what won the first battle with Ktann."
"Ktann," explained Avasa, "was a powerful Kurone emperor. It was the last Emerstone Guardian and Stormblade Wielder that defeated him. After their death, the Stormblade was lost and the Emerstone was taken into the care of Sylna's royal family. My father wants to be just like Ktann," she added disgustedly. "But he'll never make it. Too lazy." Amber laughed.

((BWHAHAHAHAHA! Another thread shall be the victim of a stabbing from my magical thread revival knife! *Laughs manically*))
Back on the ground Klatulus was inspeacting his attack force. It was impressive indeed. It should prove enough to take any city. Even one of legend. The force was hidden in a large expansive cave so as not to draw attention. He had his weapon at his side. Sheathed. He looked approvingly at the lines he passed as he walked. Then, without warning or delay, he drew his sword and in the same quick motion slashed it out aiming for the throat of his nearest soldier. There was a loud clinging as metal hit metal and Klatulus laughed in satisfaction. His target had blocked the attack though he'd had no reason to suspect it. This was the level of perfection he expected from all under his command. There had been a few who'd failed it and would never have a second chance to redeem the delay in their reaction. Klatulus was pleased to note that all of those few who had failed were soldiers from the ranks of Halleth. Out of over a hundred tested, only 5 had let him down.
Yes. This was a fine group. Well suited for any task. He knew that each of them would give a fight to remember.
He returned to his temporary quarters wich had been in the outpost wich had been set up particularily for the upcomming task. Here he looked down at the maps provided him by Halleth. They were fine for small attacks, but for what he was planning he would need something more detailed and he did not trust Halleth's scouts to get it for him.
((I'll throw in some more characters on your side of the battle field soon so it's not just two people setting up their characters for impending doom with no interaction between them.))

((*shifty eyes* Well, umm. The truth is, I've sort of stopped working on Railinnon, or at least Railinnon in its last incarnation. So my main characters minus Sylvia and Avasa are sort of dead. If you wanna keep going, how about we make a new one? You can keep your charries, but I wouldn't mind switching to my new characters that I'm using for my NaNo novel.))
