"Right," said Thaine, slightly dissapointed. He bowed to her. "Farewell, Lady Tara," he said, then he gathered his men as they all got ready to be off.

((I think Rorie's at DragonHood...Since she's holding a dragon egg and she wants help on what to do with it...Correct me if I'm wrong.))

Herring Mountain, Anistawn

Tara nodded. "Farewell." she said, watched them leave, then sighed and went back to shooting arrows at her target.

DragonHood, Anistawn

Guo made his trip back safely. Soon he saw the DragonHood training grounds below him. He ordered AmberFire to land, then hopped off his back.

"So, you survived?" asked Henes, coming forward.

"Yep." replied Guo, "Now if you don't mind, I'll bring this guy," he nodded up to AmberFire, "to the stables." With that, he left.

Henes sighed and looked around. He noticed a girl standing at the entrance of the stable perimeters, holding something small and red. He walked up to her. "Would that happen to be a dragon egg?" he asked her.

Soon, Thaine and his company reached Anistawn. There, he used the gold Tara had given him to buy the sharpest arrows he could find. He also gave them his sword, so that they could make it extra sharp. The group then arrived at the castle and bowed low before King Dasani and Queen Rhoslyn. "We are from Tara's group," said Thaine. "We are here to protect you and your children as bodyguards. We'll be ready whenever they leave the castle."

[Chris]

*couple of hours later* "Looks like its not raining" Chris says looking outside through the window. "I think we should go drop off that sword at the Dragonhood." Ice nods wating to fly. Chris gathers his things and the both go outside after locking the door. They both fly off into the sky, Chris carrying a long brown package in his arms. "WHOOT!"

[Zylaa]

((Has the hurricane happened yet? I don't think it has, I'll edit my post if it has.))
Dydri looked at the approaching clouds uncertaintly. "That doesn't look good...." she muttered. She stood up and brushed sand off herself, turning to go inland. She paused for a second, then Cir flew off determined like he had recieved orders.

((Yeah, I'll play them, I guess... And yes, the hurricane has happened. Well, it's starting to happen. Chris, is your character a dragonrider?))

The King and Queen nodded. "You and your men will be staying in the guest's wing." said Dasani, nodding to a hall on the left. He opened his mouth to say something else, but a servant came in and bowed to him and the queen, saying, "Your Majesties, Lord Himiko, the Weather Mage, wishes to speak to you. He is waiting in the library."

The King nodded, then looked back at Thaine. "You may go and unpack, and you shall meet the Princes and Princesses at dinner, in the Mess Hall." with that he left, followed by Rhoslyn, to see Himiko.

The Queen entered the library first and sat in a chair, carefully placing her blue silk skirts around her so she wouldn't ruffle them. The King followed and sat beside her.

Lord Himiko, a man in his forties, bowed low to them. He was dressed in fairly noble clothes, for he was one of the King's best Mages. He was fairly tall and had short, salt-and-pepper hair, deep blue eyes and a trimmed beard. Himiko's job was to inform the King and Queen of important storms to come. "Your Majesties, I have some very interesting news for you..." he started, getting up, "I have just been informed that Sakuya is being hit by a fairly important hurricane. Most of the cities are already completely destroyed; it will take them a lot of time and money to rebuild everything."

Dasani smirked. Though Sakuya and Anistawn weren't at war against each other, they were still enemies. After Prince Zaccheus and Princess Yu Jie were caught making out, Zaccheus's proposal to Lady Kalitarin Fawlon, one of Rhoslyn's ladies-in-waiting, had to be put off. It was an important loss for the royal family, for Kalitarin was charming and would've made a great queen. Also, it had added an almost-permanent stain to Zaccheus's perfect reputation, which was not at all good either.

"King Thu, his wife Kishi and Princess Yu Jie will probably survive," continued Himiko, " because they are staying in the central room throughout the storm, but I'm not so sure about the inhabitants."

[Zylaa]

((Ok. Pretend that post happened earlier, then)) Dydri staggered to the palace gate, Cir clinging to her arm for dear life. The rain and wind were enough to knock her over, so she clung to trees for support. She reached the gate and kicked it, hoping some guard would let her in. She huddled by the gate and whistled. Nine black dragons, each the size and build of a large dog, appeared from the shadows and stumbled to form a protective circle around her.

Thaine and his group unpacked and they began to make their way to the Mess Hall. Once they reached the Princes and Princesses eating dinner, Thaine bowed. "We are here as bodyguards for when you leave the castle," he said.

((He is horrible at it but I guess yeah.))



Ice and Chris land in Dragonhood. Chris ends up falling off as they land and ends up on his back. "Ow..." He gets up and brushs himself off looking very odd with a dragon laughing at him.

The boy sitting at the end of the table nodded. He was dressed in a red silk tunic and his black hair was cut to his earlobes. He had a long scratch along his cheek. "Welcome, then. I'm pretty sure all of us appreciate your coming here to defend us. Especially Zach and I." he said, smiling at Thaine.

"Pfft, I don't need a bodyguard." said another boy slightly older than the one who had just spoken. He had hair of a slightly lighter shade, and his left arm was in a sling.

"Shut up, Zach." remarked a little girl sitting beside him, her grey eyes set on her older brother, "If you really didn't need a bodyguard, your arm wouldn't be in such a condition right now."

Zach growled, then said, "If you'd have been at my place, you would've been killed, that's for sure. Girls are so weak."

"Yunno, just because you're heir to the throne doesn't mean you can put all of us down." said a girl sitting beside Kaida, who seemed to be about 15. Her long black hair was tied back in a braid and her dress was made of light blue silk, just like her mother's. She looked at Thaine. "Please pardon my brother, he's quite full of himself and very rude." she said, shooting a brown-eyed glare at Zach, who just stuck up his nose, "My name is Amarante, but you can call me Ama. And she," she nodded to the girl beside her, "Is Kaida, but we call her Kai. The boy next to her is, as you've probably guessed, Zaccheus, or Zach. The guy sitting at the end of the table is Ambrose, and as for the twins over there," she nodded to two boys sitting between Ambrose and Zach, "Their names are Eros and Hiero."

[Chris]

I can't realyl respond to that so... *blink*

"Right," said Thaine. "If you won't be needing us, we shall take our leave." He bowed.

[Chris]

Chris looks around him looking for Tara. "I hate making deliverys... I can nver find them!" Chris wanders around hoping to find someone.

[Zylaa]

Dydri remained hunched in the circle of dragons, hoping someone would open the door soon. She absentmindedly patted the closest one on the head.

((Eh...? I thought you were at DragonHood, Chris...*is confuzzled*))

Royal Palace, Anistawn

All nodded, except for Zach, who was still sulking at Amarante's remark.

After discussing a bit more with Himiko about the hurricane, the King and Queen finally got to the Mess Hall and sat each at one end of the long wooden table. Before he got to his place, King Dasani nodded to Thaine in approval.

Menefer, Sakuya Island

The wind and rain went on for a few more minutes, then, all of a sudden, stopped. The skies cleared in a matter of seconds.

The villagers that were courageous enough to come out did so, looking around. Some people called out to Amari, for having changed her mind and spared them.

Outside the central room walls, the wind stopped. Everyone went silent, and the Butler went out to see if the storm was over.

He finally came back in, nodding. Slowly, everybody filed out the room and went out to see the amount damage caused by the storm.

Strange... thought Yu Jie, It lasted only a few minutes, and it stopped so suddenly...And hurricanes never come in the beginning of spring...Doesn't anyone realize this...? Apparently not.
